Wind with 500 mesh filter is just so good
Iāve had the beast before and did find it a tad too dark, thanks for the offer but with your words Iām gonna give the wind a try since I like to lean brighter than darker
Btw where do you guys get those 500 mesh filters
Ali,Amazon
Thanks homie
Iāll give it a looksee on there too. Maybe I can put the mesh on my Project M and tame that peak messing with my ears
Is there anything else more āup to dateā with the Final E5000 sound signature (no price restrictions, but I donāt think I need to go too far up for something ādarkā sounding) that I should be considering while Iām still inside the return window? Received them in the mail today and theyāre pretty spot on for some genres Iām into. I wouldnāt change the treble at all, but I do prefer the bass taken down a touch, which Iāve done via tip rolling.
** Hmmā¦ that extra energy at 4~6k for the Z5 and potential fitment issues gives me a bit of pause. Iāll think Iāll just stick with the E5000. Iāve settled into it pretty nicely. Appreciate the help, though.
Sony XBA-Z5, thats the better E5000 imo.
What might be the most technical and resolving amplifier & DAC combo (portable or stationary) for IEM/headphones right now under $500? Any candidates?
Whatever dac you want and an Earmen ST-Amp
Where did you get Xlr to 4.4mm for the balanced? Iāll be running the j2 dac to the amp. Looking to maybe pick one up next week. Thanks gooB!
If you had a chance to grab 64audioās Duo for 400, would you? Cause Iām staring at one right now
I remember when you were looking at the $300 ones. Just pull the trigger already lmao
the only reason I looked at that one was because I missed the bid 3 minutes after and it sold for 300 :C
I only got 300, letās see if the guy counter offers or tell me to pound sand
Offer $250, heāll push back, then go for $300
heās got an automated decline going on and itās declined even 410 since heās selling for 500
It might not be a bad deal but I want a cutthroat deal, this guyās not willing to get ripped off and that makes me disappointed
At 500, Iād rather message the guy selling the Mest MK2 to sell it for 800 and grab that instead
Can I ask what it is in particular about the Duos that youāre excited about? Is it the open-back nature, the tuning, a āfirst 64 Audioā IEM? Or are you just looking to score a deal haha?
Itās the looking to score a deal and first 64audio IEM + open back trio combo that Iām going for lol
but since that guy didnāt want to get ripped off, now I got 200 on a gift card, good thing they donāt expire
Got my mitts on the Kefine Delci today. I understand why people like them for $60. Solid overall tuning, especially if you like sub-bass. Iām more of a mid-bass guy, so there may be a wee bit too much smothering lows for me with tips that fit properly. Female voices also are a bit too recessed for me.
But ā¦ this isnāt classic V-shaped tuning since I think the treble extension is just about right. Solid detail for a $60 set.
Thereās a lot to like here. The Delci arenāt a giant slayer, but theyāre quite competitive in their price range, especially if you like sub-bass. Theyāre not going to supplant the MagicOne as my favorite IEM so far, but theyāre quite good for the price. I also think they have considerably better stock tuning than the recent belle of the ball, the Simgot EA500 LM. The tuning is more cohesive and musical on the Delci, and thereās not excessive treble like with the EA500 LM.
CCA Trio also were supposed to come today but delayed until Friday. Just as well, so I can focus more on the Delci.
Delci graphs like a Kailua with a bit more sub-bass ( under 80 Hhz )
Here, here, LM is ok, but I would take Artti R1, Kailua, or Olina SE over it.
I have so much stuff in the mail over the next week or two, it is absurd. I got into the flathead earbud thing, and ordered 10 pairs ( they cost less than the EA500LM ). I saw that my HBB Nv shipped from Linsoul this week too.
