Not a single IEM fit me like the Samsung AKG earphone that came with my Galaxy S10e, straight out of the box, didn’t even need to change the eartips.
Problem is, this thing kinda sucks on the sound department, and the cable is immensely microphonic, which translates into a pretty much unusable in-ear.
So now, i’m looking for something like this, with the cable coming down instead of up, with roughly this shape as well, but i didn’t have any luck of finding one yet.
Do you guys have any recs?
Budget pricing too, under US$50 if possible.
Most IEMs fit me, but, sometimes i like to use them laying down on my bed and these are much more comfortable than the ones that wrap behind the ears.
TWS works, like the Whizzer B6, but it kills my phone’s battery life.
I have these to and they indeed fit amazing… But I don’t shave daily so the instant I even have a bit of scruffy on my face the microphonic cable is louder than any music I try to blast through them.
Also fit me with the out-of-the box tips.
Where’s your phone when you sleep with IEM? I have it behind my head so I can lead cables of top-exiting (so usually over the ear cables) IEMs just behind me to my phone without having to run them around my ears.
You can use a sim card ejector or a needle and then slowly but surely remove it by ripping it apart. Be careful not to kill the wire itself or stab your fingers lol.
I should mention that you should try to wear it like I mentioned above before you remove the earhooks as you cant reverse it if you dont like it…
Here’s a suggestion but it may take a while to love listening to it in your ears, if you want to lie down sideways with no issues of it being a bother, go for the BLON BL-05S, not the non-S BLON BL-05, the BLON BL-05S.
It is basically a revision of the BLON BL-05 that is done right and a worthy sidegrade from the BLON BL-03 in my opinion, let’s say to keep it short in terms of sounds, it’s like you took the good things about the BL-03s and the BL-05, then combining them together to form the BL-05S. A warning though, because you have to break these in/burn these in since out of the box they don’t sound good at all, but if you do have the patience these are worth it to have, otherwise this is not for you.
Stock cable and tips? imo replace them, Final E Types for the tips and Yinyoo cable for the cables as replacement, if it’s available for you to get, Deep Mount Radius Tips. This is coming from a guy who sleep sideways with these in his ears and with no problems at all.
Mine sounded great out of the box with no difference after 100 hours of burn-in… But I had this “really needs to burn in”-issue with the BL03’s so… I think it’s a little inconsistent on which one does or does not need burnin in
Eh. They’re great products… but they’re still cheap and chinese
We shall assume that if we wanted consistency we’d be paying more and we’ll be happy with burning them in just in case they need it
Agreed, I mean holy shit! How can you not buy that for that price?! like you need a spare of those just in case your other one broke, you rarely get IEMs that sounds phenomenal as the BL-03s
I personally didn’t have to burn in my IEMs yet, specially because i don’t believe in burn ins, but anyway…
I also failed to remove the earhook of my cable, i might just buy a TRN M10 to steal its cable for my BL03…
