I'm completely lost

Remind me again, are you on PC? If so, there should be all sorts of cheap mic options.

Yes, I am on pc

Can you share a site that sells microphones? Do you have some version of Ebay available?

Are you talking about the mics like the Vmoda Boom pro? Or those big ones with an arm and evrything?

I mean, we do have a site kind of like Ebay. This one

Blah, hard for me to navigate Romanian. The Boom Pro will work with the X2HR. I have never used one, but people generally like them. My preference lies with an external usb condenser mic. Something like this:

But you could get by with a cheaper lav like this:

With a lav, you just have to make sure what connection your computer has–is it audio/mic in one jack, or are they separate?

How much is the boom pro there?

I believe I have both. My case has two different ports, so does my keyboard (yes, i know my keyboard, I spent way too much on it, let’s just move on), and I have one single jack on my monitor which I think is for both

It’s 35 euros here

But this Aputure A.lav seems pretty nice

Personally, I like lavs less just because you have to remove the mic and your headphones if you need to get up. With the boom pro or a USB mic on your desk you’ll only have to worry about taking the headphones off, but that might not matter to you.

I just want a decent mic man. I want the fidelio so bad because I’ve heard so much good stuff about them, but I’m still not convinced about spending the extra money.
I figured out that the philips will cost me about 30+ more euros. I just want to make sure that those extra money are absolutely well spent and not wasted

We’re talking about compared to the Cooler Masters, correct?

Bit like the title of the thread?..best heading ever lol.

Compared to the GSP 500

The comparison between the fidelio and the Coolermaster isn’t even worth mentioning. As I see it the Fidelio’s are a light year ahead of those.
But compared to the GSP 500 which I want to buy, they do perform better for music, worse for gaming (i don’t know how worse), and don’t come with a mic, which set’s me back another 30 more euros.

I haven’t heard the GSP500. I can tell you that I did have the Sennheiser x Drop P37X, and I would take the X2HR over those for sure. However, if it is going to be a significant price difference to get the X2HR and a mic, you may try the Senns first and just see how you like them. Especially if wherever you’re getting them from has a good return policy.

I don’t think that I’ll be disappointed with them, so there’s little chance they’ll be that bad that I’ll have to return them. The X2’s I can only imagine are wonderful but, because I’m getting them second hand, I can’t return them, they’re more expensive and I just don’t know if they’re worth the headache with the shipping from the guy whom I’m buying from, the absence of a mic and the higher price (not like I don’t have the money but I am planning on also buying a pair of Sony Wh 1000xm2/3 and selling my current Momentum 2’s).
I just don’t know, just like the bloody title, I am completely lost.

Ok, quick update, have heard the audio technica ath-adg1x being very good in the gaming department, and the added mic is also very good. I have found them for 140 euros, and compared to the fidelio x2hr’s + a vmoda boom pro mic, they are slightly cheaper. Now the question here is, should I go for the Audio Technicas which already have all what I need, or go for the slightly more expensive Philips + the Vmoda mic, which is highly acclaimed.
Quick side note here, if any of them would work with a vr headset (by that I mean that they are not too chunky to annoy me while playing vr games) that would be awesome.
