The recording is definitely not broken or whatever, it sounds really nice (obviously) – my gear is ok too You either need V-shaped headphones or tweeters that go to 20khz and dog-like hearing maybe lol. I don’t know if it’s beeps anymore but there’s just a lot going on there. 1:40, 2:45, 3:15, they just boosted the (really) high frequencies.
At 2:45, you clearly hear two cymbals then two other cymbal-like, high-frequency sounds are coming from your right. Beautifully done though, sounds like when something’s “sparkling” in the movies.
