Yes they dont call it a “2DD” iem like hifigo and shenzhen does and clearly says it is a single active driver and then a passive one (if we ignore how much of a meme that implementation is).

That one is different and while there was some issues with their implementation, it does do something and isnt bs.
I’m glad the result is good, but they shouldn’t deceive someone that their money is going into more transducers than it is or has a hint of isobaric character or what have you

Need to stop them fast or you are just gonna get more like this and then it be that much harder to know which is legit, especially when the majority of iems dont show any internal pics. (there are also those that show internal pics but they end up being false…)

Yeah, their own instructions kinda had me scratching my head on the positions of the switches; I had assumed that there were stops or detents inside the shell that made the end positions obvious but apparently I’m wrong:
@Rikudou_Goku It’s a silly claim for the marketers to call that setup 2DD but Chi-fi gonna Chi-fi. I do hope that reviewers call that mess out (and honestly Softears should discourage it since it’s misrepresentation of their design and product).

My dude, I don’t think I was in the hobby when this meme first came to light. Can you please explain why the passive driver doesn’t count as driver? Off the top of my head, a passive driver would be more of a resonator I guess?
