Man they’ve really gone off the rails with this one. $1399 for the Strawberry 3.141? That’s some bold pricing for what sounds like the same old driver salad with a fancy name. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next one’s called the SeeAudio Caviar with an even steeper tag haha

Pretty sure it’s 1.333*1.333, so x1.778 more area

Ah def more area but bass isn’t solely about driver size. The Ace seems to have more bass, which makes me think the 12mm driver might be better designed ? Not sure though

Lots of DDs have more bass on graph than the ex800st but the ex800st (and ex1000) are still my unrivaled bass kings in the iem world, the quality is insane with their texture. They are essentially earbuds in iem format with all the pros from both sides.

Are these still THAT good, with all that we can buy today?
I havent heard a lot of the newer stuff to be fair but the ex800st/1000 are still my favourite iems (with PEQ to my own target). They just sounds like an earbud with iem bass extension pretty much.
