Jesus that is some spicy treble.
Honestly, it doesn’t sound fatiguing on actual listening but it definitely graphs spicier.
Idk bro it sounds pretty spicy to me The blue nozzle is the only variant that’s doable at lower-mid vol
It sounds much better with Mesh filter
Honestly, it’s super non-fatiguing to me. I’m all in on the SuperStage module, personally.
I will say, though, that I’m using Final Type E Clear/Reds on them for fit and that could also explain it not being spicy to me. Shape is irregular enough to limit tips to my ears.
I have gotten it to sound slightly grainy on some tracks and they’re harder to drive then you’d expect.
Ya the fit is ass
I can only use softears ultra clears with them and divinus wide bores
Yeah. Need a longer stem tip. If you use Final Type E, those are perfect.
Hi, Jay. I like your videos a lot, I just found this thread.
I was wondering if you could help me pick my next set, I am split between Ziigaat Doscinco and Mangird Tea Pro.
I understand, that Tea Pro has better technicalls, but I was wondering if you think it’s so much better it justifies the price difference (33% more expensive)?
I know that your preference is high volume listening, but I hardly ever go loud because I am listening for hours at time, that’s why I can’t go the Odyssey route. I like a good sub bass, that’s why I am looking at Doscinco and Tea Pro, but since I can’t stand spicy top end I am not considering Hype 4. I am using Moondrop Dawn Pro if that matters.
I hope you can give me your insight. Cheers!
Hey man, welcome to the thread
Cincotres would be the best choice there. Dos is mid-bass focused and has less tech than Cinco which is also more sub-bass focused. Tea Pros are more of a thicker mid-bass balanced tuning and doesn’t really highlight the sub-bass as much, also not worth the extra $100 over the Cinco detail wise as they’re pretty close.
Thank you so much, I appreciate your help!
Another perspective…I still own Tea Pro and Doscinco … Listen to them both regularly. I sold the Cinco after 1 week. There are a couple dips in Cincos response that , for me , limit it to a niche set. Perhaps for certain genres, to my ears It’s unnaturally thin sounding.
The Tea Pro has flexibility/versatility … you can easily have the sound of both Ziigatts with slight Eq …the bass responds beautifully on that set. OOTB it is basically a balanced monitor with slight added bass response. I hear the drivers as higher quality. When stacking them against each other and add the 2000 dollar Valhalla, it’s not even close for me. Doscinco is warmer thicker albeit fun sound, TP is clean, more resolution, extended with less bass slam but higher quality delivery. Out of memory, Cinco had thinner guitars and vocals, which was the deal breaker for me.
I’ll say that in this case, you get what you pay for, TP will cost more than Dos or Cin but outshines them both and is closest to the superb Valhalla when adding a touch more bass.
Thank you, this is very helpful.
I think I am ready to go for slightly higher resolution TP provides and play with the EQ if needed. I will still ponder on it for a bit before I order, because I just realized that Linsoul doesn’t cover import taxes (VAT), so that changes things a bit and introduces Myer’s CKLVX D62 into the mix (HiFiGo covers all the fees, so D62 eds up being half the price of TP).
Thank you once again, you have been super helpful, now I have to sleep on it.
I dunno… I almost feel like I would like to hear that out of curiosity. At least the sub bass is there too…
Wanting to hear an abomination out of curiosity is fine.
We will come and run an intervention if you actually pay money for it, though
Imagine the best way to stick out in the current market is to have a bad graph lol.
Oh how far we’ve evolved. Next thing you know Delta Airbuds will be the new trend
