man this hobby is really all over the place tbh. HBB trashed the D41 when so many loved it. HBB LOVED the dusk 2 and a lot of others had problems with it. Same goes for with supermix 4. I guess it really just comes down to finding the reviewers that share similar sound preference to you and also have similar taste in music.

Exciting month. Getting the hbb x ff duece, aful Cantor, Jays Estrella and the mega 5 est B. Will be posting here the more hyped sets. Here is a graph of cantor and the possible new faceplate.

There are that difference on sound between these two iems?
-Hype 4 (450€)
-Supermix 4 (160€)
Shit, those Cantors sure are pretty… the graph looks nice too. Very flat, monitor light tuning. Seems pretty similar to the P8 if I recall correctly.

I agree with the text and faceplate having a possibility of being similiar. But Aful Cantor was announced like June 2023, Canpur was an unknown brand until HBB put them on the map in like Jan 2024. Canpur has done a lot of iems for a while. Also Canpur is the brand, Cantor is the name.
I think the only iem that’s actually “hyped” from Canpur is 622B, but I could be wrong.

I was “hyped” about my Canpur Joyful 1&1, (with the HZHeartmirror DD & an E-Audio BA in the nozzle, per Hi-Fri Audio teardown, he posted on Youtube about sale), got them on an Amazon super sale for $28, still avaliable for $158 . They also offered a 1&2 which wasn’t available when I ordered.
Fast forward a yr and lo and behold released highly respected kilo buck IEMs.
Ya never know…

100% I kinda laughed at the Canpurr 622b with it’s funny name. Respect to Canpurr for doing some great work as of late. I got to hear it and am pretty impressed, I might buy one but also might wait for a Theiaudio Origin, or @Anatolyi_ZE new iem looks hella promising.

I don’t think manufacturers go for that, I mean the powerful bone conduction driver that I installed and placed towards the ear because it is very dangerous at high volume as it hits the ears, but at medium volume it is fine! In addition, this driver transmits lower frequencies which are also transmitted through the shell into the ear cushions and thus you get a very powerful bass, probably the most powerful bass you can imagine.

ESTs are very difficult to install as they take up a lot of space in the case, and are inefficient as they have high impedance, with this configuration it is unlikely they could fit another 11mm BCD driver in this case. I had to recess it straight into the case to fit everything inside.
