I don’t know if anybody mentioned them, but Diana Krall and Madeleine Peyroux have a lot of very well recorded/mastered tracks with some great female vocals
I agree, all of the Diana Krall albums are really well mastered. (Got them all).

I listen mainly to modern and Scandinavian jazz. This seems to me very underrepresented here and I would like to introduce 4 bands with 2 songs each from their career. All 4 artists have very good recording quality.

- Esbjörn Svensson was probably one of the best jazz pianists ever RIP
- e.s.t. on JazzBaltica with From Gagarin’s Point of View was probably the best concert of my life
- the album “Strange Place for Snow” should be known by every jazz fan

I’ve been listening to some Sonny Rollins recently
Horace Tapscott, The Dark Tree
simply cannot go wrong with “Blue” or “time out”
Not classic jazz but highly recommend entire album ( Cochemea - All My Relations).
Anything from Cannonball Adderley or Stan Gets, João Gilberto.

Anything by Miles Davis or John Coltrane… Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, Count Basie, Monk, Art Blakey, Sarah Vaughan, Sonny Rollins, and Louis Armstrong are all good starting points.
