I shall wait to see all the people flexing their SLI 3090’s on facebook groups hahaa. Cos ik its gonna happen
Provided they haven’t dropped support for it.
Speaking of which… Aperently someone at Nvidia thought this was okay:

I can’t stop laughing.
God it is stupid…
Edit2:
Remember when EVGA made this?

Time to make a new one EVGA!
The Strix card has changed it’s look after the last two generations of being the same damn design.
Actually, yeah, I do. It was interesting to say the least.
The tweet is real.
It is shite.
An upgrade over the clusterfuck of 20-series founders cards, but still bad.
I like the FE design doesnt look like gamer puke stuck on a GPU but i wish they put the connector somewhere else lol
It isn’t surprising that Nvidia went all out this time around. They’re facing much stiffer competition than Turing did, which is why you see the massive increases in size and power draw, even though they shrunk the node.
Both new consoles will offer graphics performance around a 2080/ti for around $500, and if you look at what those are doing, you can make some educated guesses about what full RDNA 2 cards could be capable of.
Competition is good.
I am not talking about looks.
Yes. And following their tradition, AMD will “factory overvolt” them resulting in another year of “hot & loud”-memes. Performance and price not important.
Hahah once they fixed that tho the 5700 is a good card and no one can take that away. For the price its great.
Not this time. Nvidia already went big and loud. The 3090 draws 350 W stock and has a silencer built in! It looks like they should have the performance to justify it, and it looks like they’ve built their coolers properly to control it, but these cards are going to heat your room up really quickly.
Also, we already know that AMD can get 2080ti-level performance with ~150 W because the Series X is doing that, and the 2080ti-level 3070 uses 220 W.
How well the coolers are designed will be the difference here really, because it looks like Nvidia really needed that new cooler design to cool their new beasts properly.
Oh no. I do not want to be within 1km of that device if it’s doing anything
I take a look at that and can’t help but think… WTF am I even looking at?
EVGA has announced theirs. Not bad looking, but I don’t even wanna think about how much a RTX 3090 Kingpin card is gonna cost…
Allegidly, if we are gonna go by roomers. We have no definitive numbers for that yet.
Im not big on either. I am trying to do closed loop on the next build so that hydro copper looks mehhhh to me but im hoping there are some good looking blocks coming for these
A triple slot cooler with active cooling on the backplate? So you mean all the slots in on an mATX board are blocked by this thing… GG Zotac!
