If your scared of gear failing don’t buy an Asus card go EVGA or evensinas their customer service and RMA process is miles ahead of Asus especially in the GPU front
GN said the same.
As is tradition, GN will make a dedicated video looking into the viability of the 3090 as a workstation card.
Avoid them. Their QA and customer service made them infamous.
And then there was this masterpiece
Any reason in particular you are not picking the i7-10700k?
“thinking something specs like”
Not particularly those brands and not those examples / mentioned specs, something in the range of those.
Well i kinda was hoping with 3y warranty, that the company would handle the Asus side of things and just give me new ones if they break.
EVGA GPU seems like nice gear. Also the prices are pretty high here, mighty the quality be on par with price?
I personally don’t have experience with EVGA, but seems to me like the quality is up there.
For americans EVGA shouuld be the one brand to buy due to their warrenty. Where as in the EU all the companies have to have the warrenty anyway so EVGA isnt special in the EU. But in US EVGA’s warrenty is miles better than the rest.
EVGA is to Nvidia what Sapphire is to AMD, a safe bet.
They had a problem with one generation where they were missing thermal pads under the backplate. Handled that realy well (free replacement shipping or get a kit to DIY fix it). Apart from that, good cards.
Sapphire is a safe bet? I thought they had the worst warranty / support in the GPU industry?
My experience has been great (no DOA products, 1 RMA), then again, EU laws for me.
Their performance is top tier and for the higher price cards they usually have better coolers. While my cards from them never died my buddy who’se custom loop leaked and ruined one of his card at the time was a 1080 they replaced with an equivalent card with almost no hassle. The main hassle was sending pictures and the dead card back.
Seagate says they’re launching a 20TB HDD in December:
just watched a vid on HWC and a chart was leaked that shows the 3060 will replace the 2080. that’s very promising!
For those who don’t know, Buildzoid (aka AHOC) is focused on extreme overclocking and functionality first. So maybe dilute his views a bit.
And here is the Jays2Cents version:
Well the videos that I am seeing right now, it seems I have been dodging the bullet lately.
Looking at buying a budget 27"-32" 4K Monitor, any suggestions? I’m leaning towards a 32" VA panel instead of an IPS for the better blacks. Don’t game much so not interested in TN. So far I like the looks of the BenQ EW3270U or the new LG 32UN500-W. Anyone have any thoughts?
Big AMD RDNA2 leak from MacOSX 11 Beta kernal.
Navi 21,22 and 23.
Navi 21 maybe confirmed to have 80 cus from 3 leaks showing same
but damn that Navi 22 with 2.5ghz boost. I want to see an OC video to get that to 3ghz. First gpu to reach 3ghz clock?
Plus even better 21 is at 2.2 boost with 80 CU’s thats insane we may have a 3090 competitor but we shall see. Drivers better be damn good xD
Seems a bit high to me. Even on TSMC 7nm.
But maybe, AMD figured themself out.
Most likely a MAX boost but if they can market it must be able to push it.
I predict, the performance will be good.
And people will be disapointed again because the hype and rumors did not come true.
Im thinking 3070-80 perfomance and id be happy with that. Thats a big jump for amd ngl
