And MSI’s missery continues:

to conveniently be listed by MSI backed scalpers… :stuck_out_tongue:

MSI n eds to get their shit together. I am a huge fan of their motherboards and sad to see them fucking up in the oddest ways. That many GPUs don’t just disappear or get stolen.

It’s only about one van load.

Yeah 340k at market price, but I wonder how much is the actual cost, 30k? 100k? PCBs and smaller components should be dirt cheap and most of the manufacturing is done by machines anyway.

And it’s probably not MSI’s fault, someone somewhere probably made an oopsie.

Well it says 220 units were stolen, so I’d say they’re going by market price.

Yeah, but I mean after manufacturing. What is the actual cost of that van load? Shipping, taxes and profit excluded.

we never know mfr costs…very few people do.

Right now, due to my video card that I have received back then as a gift got broken for unknown reasons, I have been waiting right now for it to get a replacement since it is still under warranty thank God, and that video card, the RTX 3080 got all of the needs that I want, therefore I am not looking to get it replaced by a different card and I am going to keep it on my build for many years to come. So in order to keep on using my PC, I have to go back to my RX 580, which is still a good card for 1080p and thank God for having a backup card because if I didn’t have one, I wouldn’t be able to use my PC for at least like weeks.

discord is your friend. find a tracker server and have high priority on your phone for notificatiosn Ive already helped secure like 4 cards for my friends. 3060 ti’s are proving to be the most difficult lol. and I havent seen a 3070 for a few days which sucks cause not I actually want a card Im seeing less hit the market. I guess time to wait until after christmas

The spacebar on my keyboard is getting splashy. To many long HFGF posts? Probably! But I saw this deal. No idea if this keyboard is good or this switch type is what they claim, but for the price I’m gonna try! Figured I’d share the deal with my fellow audio nerds too:

Yikes. That’s bad for personal revenue.

Still don’t know what’s the difference between rasterization and ray tracing lol . I’ll Google it.

That is just Nvidia not being able to let Nintendo be the only childish company for 5 minutes.

Rasterization works by looking how much of a triangle is in each pixel, then coloring that pixel accordingly. Often in combination with anti-aliasing to make the edges look less jagged.

LOL, big companies, always

Thanks for the explanation, I didn’t Google it yet so I didn’t waste your effort :joy:. Yay.

I really don’t get how multinational corporations always have such crappy PR departments. How did they think this was a good idea? It won’t make any measurable impact on other reviews or users perception, and it’ll just piss people off.
Ray tracing may be the future of gaming, but it’s not the present, Nvidia.

I don’t either.
It would be so simple: Recieve bad review, fix what is broken, done!

It wasn’t even a bad review, it just didn’t fellate them in just the right way. Video game companies do this all the time. They’ll blacklist publications for not completely agreeing with Game Informer’s exclusive preview.
