They are exactly like Final Type E tips except don’t tame treble peaks and don’t fit bigger nozzles.
Sony tips are particular, but excellent. Probably my favorites when I can use them.
I find them rather neutral in sound, maybe brings up the bass depending on insertion depth. They are super soft and flexible–maybe an issue for some–but that’s what I love about them as putting them in your ears is like a non-issue. Silky smooth texture so no grip, but they don’t cause any irritation. The stems are a bit on the shorter side, and rather small, and the silicone doesn’t hold up to stretching over thick IEM stems.
Overall, the best tips I own. Too bad I can’t use them with my current IEM collection.
Final Type E are harder, longer, but similar in size, design, and smooth outer texture. Too hard for me as I couldn’t get a seal.
Yes. I like them. They are very comfortable and I can get a seal easily and every time. Win.
They are about the same shape but the silicone is thinner and considerably softer. Final E will hardly seal for me. The Sony hybrids have been flawless and that’s huge coming from me since most tips won’t even seal for me.
I wish I had found these earlier and I wish Sony made different sizes with different nozzles sizes. The nozzle shape is pretty small on them. They might, I haven’t looked too far into it yet.
Agreed. I can not achieve a consistent seal with Final E unfortunately.
I swear Sony has to up their tip and cable game. Something about the rubber and silicone they use is just fucking premo stuff. I still dream of the Sony PSP to RCA output cable I got being the finest fucking cable I’ve ever felt.
I’d love to get them Z1R tips–especially as they seem to have MS and ML sizes cause sometimes the M size is too deep, L is too large for me (or the angle of the cone is too steep). Maybe worth emailing them to see if we can get “replacement tips”?

This is where I got triple comfort tips in the US.
These look like the Hybrid Silicone Rubber Tips that came with my set they do list other sizes too…
I’m having an ongoing chat with UK Sony trying to source the Z1R og tips last time they sent me the link for the Triple-Comfort which is not what I’m looking for, every time since the chat’s been busy so I’ll keep trying
Holy shit, and they’re local to me so I can pickup. Thank you!
Did the 1pc order you made come in a pair, or individual eartips?
Why the fuck are some pieces $0.98 and the main sizes are $4.95?
Thank you!
I’m based in the US, but it would be great if there can be an across-the-pond sort of deal. Thanks for the efforts.
I’m mostly interested in the MS and ML sizes–mostly the ML size. Sony really sticks to strict MM sizing, 12mm or 13mm, and I prefer soft 12.5mm so I’m thinking the ML size would be the way to go.
The biggest problem is the stem size… Ain’t none of my IEMs working with Sony eartips.
Sure no problem just be aware the Triple-Comfort and Hybrid Silicone Rubber Tips are quite different, personally I don’t like T-C’s but that’s just me…It might be worth trying to chat with Sony-USA and see if they can help
Totally for the hybrid silicone. Aint interested in anything related to foams.
Maybe I’ll hit up Sony USA and see what I can squeeze from them.
This all reminds me I’ve got quite a spending spree to do when I return to Japan…
What would be the closest equivalent in size and feel to Final Audio E type Medium tips?
The OG Z1R silicone tips?..I’m a large in E’s and a Large in the Z1R tips…
Feel? there the softest tips you can buy…in softness Z1R silicone tips>EP-EX11>E’s
Give me a minute and I’ll try and find a medium E to measure…
Edited here’s a medium Z1R tip which I think is the same size as a medium E tip?..
The prices are for 1 piece, so you’ll need to order 2.
A straight up piece by piece distributor.
Ok, thank you!
Putting a type E on a 7mm nozzle, would that affect the fit in my ears at all?
I just tried the CP100+ and they are great on BL05s and FA E2000. They do increase the bass and the treble which works wonders for the E2000. They are super comfortable for me.
They don’t fit on large nozzle so I’ll try the CP155 next.
What kind of tips is recommended for large and long nozzles?
I’m having a hard time with my TP. So far the reversed Starling after i trimmed the stem are the best and i just ordered Sedna short and CP360.
Chopped foams.
