Lets talk about your tips! ;)

Ola amigos, does anybody have a recommendation for a set of tips which is known for increasing or at least preserving the best possible bass impact?

Muchas gracias amigo! I will have a look!

For my FH3 i am perfectly happy with the AZLA Xelastec tips but on the Kinda Lava the exact same tip feels a bit too big and uncomfortable after a while so i went back to the stock tips which actually fit pretty good but not perfect…also the bass could use a slight boost.
Ordered the Azla tips one size smaller now and will also order the final E to find the perfect match because the kinda lava is definitely a keeper
Did you receive yours already?

I always think of the best bass tips as Final E or Spinfit CP100

Wide bore tips let all the treble out, the bass always gets out, so typically narrow bore tips are good for bass. I find foam dulls the bass for me, in weird ways, so I avoid it. I know some people like it, if you shorten them, which puts less foam in the way of the sound.

Ok, good that I hate foam tips anyway :+1:t2:

Me too

I did spend time trying them to make sure how they impacted the sound. They do get a great seal, but aren’t very comfortable for me.

I compared the azla Sedona earfit long (MS) and the spinfit cp100 (L) on my Mele set.

With spinfit I get more slam, more impact on sub-bass

With Sedona, I get more upper mids, but I also get a lot more bass/mid-bass. I get it so much that it disturbs me on a listening session. It even tire my ears.

Some people Bragg about them hearing 18kHz and above, being treble sensitive and all that. I can now Bragg about me being bass sensitive

They just arrived, fuck yeah, really nice bass with these :volcano::man_dancing:t2::dancing_men:

They are great at what the they. The best, even.

Never used foamies before, but fell in love with the ones included with S12. Can someone recommend some foamies?

Comply. Best ever :dancer:

But the price…

Anyone know any silicon tips that don’t get slippery? I prefer non foam tips but every silicon one I use gets wet and slippery in under an hour for me

Isnt that because you have the wet earwax type?

The quick fix would be non-silicone tips (i.e. foamies or TPE tips like the Xelastecs or Azla Sednaearfit Crystals) but we also need to figure out what is causing this issue. Can you narrow down if it’s just moisture, earwax, oil from your skin or a combination? You may need to change your earcare/skincare regimen for your ears to help alleviate this. You could also clean your tips semi-regularly with topical isopropyl alcohol and see if that helps mitigate the issue.

Yeah. I had some senny MTW2s that stuck pretty well. The final Es I have get too slippery. Foams work well but I don’t like how consumable they are

Cleaning your ears regularly should help then. Otherwise there is no real fix AFAIK.
