Lets talk about your tips! ;)

Glad to see you find this little ear tip very amusing:smile::+1:

It is irreplaceable piece of audio gadget for me now.

I also recommend

:arrow_forward:︎Tanchjim T-APB(AirPressureBalance) tips
for interchangeable clean sound with built-in pressure release system inside the ear tips

:arrow_forward:︎Pentaconn Coreir
For Image resolution /gain level booster, sound stage extender.

Meanwhile Timbre / Image Projection wise, I find H570 the most natural and thus transparent ear tip for many of modern IEMs. I’ve tried most of other Feaulle Latex series but it seems H570 was a miracle coming out of them. Other series had nothing noteworthy.

Seems like that to me too on my first few listens so I can see why you used them to tune Butastur :+1: thanks for the other recs especially the Pentaconn Coreir as Z1R’s sound stage is pretty mega already especially vertically, so I’ll order some to try :beers:

PS So medium H570 would also equate to a medium with the Coreir’s?

Here is size comparison, the Coreir I got L size just to be safe, it’s the most expensive ear tip I ever bought and they only offer one size😢

In these pics, the pinkish top is Coreir (L), the H570 is M size.

I’ve also put Tanchjim T-APB(Treble), AZLA Xelastec, SpinFit W1 and Softears UC as well.

as it says they come in S M/S M and L :man_shrugging: I think M 13mm would be the best fit for me.

Ah wait that’s not S/M/L 3 pairs for $40-50, it’s just 1 size for $40-50. Yea if you are getting two sizes it will cost double.

I got it from MTM Audio, 1 size 2 pairs for $50 while back that was the only trusted source to buy those outside of Japan.

Yeah so one set $33, two sets $58 I guess…think I’ll get one set of medium and see how they work out :+1:

@AmericanSpirit_JP I’ll give ‘em a whizz too, in for a penny, in for a pound as they say :beers:

I got that one recently, I say it kinda cleaned my boomy bass I guess due to the added distance between the nozzle and my ear but bass sounded more refined vs short-wide tips. I also had to increase my volume a bit more not sure if there’s a leak on my set but probably due to the tips being longer.

I personally noticed improvement with the texture, notes sounded more clean and clear. Although at some point I found that some macro detail were missing but probably I just have to increase the volume.

Cool thank you, what set was that with?..I’m just rolling the curiosity dice when it comes to tips on the sets that I all ready own.

Tried it with RSV, Serial (honeymoon period) and my KL +3dB bass boost.

I love it best with my KL, for my ears seems like it tamed the slight bass bleed I’m hearing it also made the soundstage more noticeable. Also helped tame some energetic sizzle a little.

I actually like it with Serial, it did improve the bass texture and presented it clean compared to the stock tips and dunu s&s, although bass I feel is less in quantity. Soundstage is much noticeable as well. It gave me a dilemma, I actually like the original secret sauce L tuning and full mids.

Didn’t like it with my RSV though (using UC tips previously). It wiped the extra mid bass that I enjoy. Also I feel like the vocals and instruments were pushed back slightly. I feel like it was less engaging after even after increasing volume. Stage I did notice some improvement.

Will try on my Fan2 and P1 Max next week :v:

Can anybody compare the Coreir tips to Tri Clarion?

So far Clarion´s are my unbeaten champ in terms of clarity and max soundstage while still being pretty affordable.

And what about longevity of the Coreir Tips?
That type of silicone looks like the one of Xelastecs which will start to look nasty after a while.

It’s the same as Softears UC, so they would be fine. I don’t have them yet, but you would probably like H570 because there are similarities to Clarion according to tweakingtips review and I know AS has praised them. But those you’ll have to be careful when taking them off as the outer material used is latex, so it can rip at the connection to the silicone core.

AmericanSpirit: “H570 ear tips handles what Clarion does in a better way”

Edit: I’m assuming you don’t already have H570, but in case you don’t…

Good luck! Coreir is very unique in sounding👌

Coreir is not a color-less ear tip, it will raise gain levels and expand sound stage especially in side ways.

Clarion is horn shaped type with regular conventional silicone used. Same to JVC’s spiral dot, they do open up space when projecting sound image but comes with a trade off of nerf’d bass transient.

H570 uses latest clear and semi-sticky silicone close to somewhere between Softears UC and SpinFit W1, while the sound conduit shape is thoughtfully designed to cast image with minimum interference while retaining bass impact and transients.

Have some tips for anyone that needs some. The are all size small. They are used and some unused. Three different Spinfits(cp100+,W1,cp145). Also have the clear and black final E tips. I trimmed a couple of the bores on the final e. Just hit me up if you want any of them. Have a good one,Chris👍
