Lets talk about your tips! ;)

Public service announcement;

The Divinus Velvet wide tips are sick af.

That is all.

No but seriously, these are really nice tips, they’re bigger than usual from what I can gather in terms of comfort but once you get them to fit properly the bass tightens up and the sense of mid-bass slam becomes way more apparent. Not only that, the upper mids and treble get smoothened out quite a bit, but in the best way possible. It’s hard to explain.

I’m really diggin’ them so far and I’m putting them on every set I own to find out they really do work on everything so far! Little pricey, for sure, but I think it’s a worthy investment.

dom, have you tried the acoustune aex07?
they’re basically their version of the divinus tip material wise but don’t have as big of a seam to irritate like the divinus.

very nice if you like the aet07 tips but wanted them in a different material

Their naming scheme is so confusion to me… I have tried the AEX70 but not the 07, brother. They’re nice tips for sure, but I didn’t find them special. I’ve never tried the 07s unfortunately.

They really are specialists in confusion, its get worse when you try their weird AEX50s with the wings but they don’t tell you how to actually fit them

AEX07 is basically the AET07 that everyone copied but with a material similar to the divinus velvets.

I agree, even I cant make sense of it at all. I only know that the AET lineup has been around for many years so I guess the AEX lineup must be new lineup.

Trust me, I totally bought into that weird design but they are such a waste of money lol they just simply don’t seal
At all and fitting them, like you said, is a complete mystery. I don’t even know where my pair is. What a waste of $10 :sweat_smile:

@Rikudou_Goku alright, if you can’t make sense of it then no one can haha

basically just remaking their classic AET07 with different materials other than the weird AEX50s. but I wouldn’t know that if I didn’t try them all because they are a black hole for information.

AEX70 is just too soft in the “umbrella” for anything I have tried them on. They just collapse in my ear. AET07 and AEX07 is good.

I’ll have to try those some day.

Tips that come with 7Hz x HBB Elua are pretty decent. The wide bore set reminds me of the Fiio HS18 and the narrow bore is more like Final E in both sound and fit.

AEX07 is the successor to AET07. I think it is fair to say the ones 7hz have is more or less copies of Accoustune AET07 for medium/wide bore, and AET08 for narrow bore. KBear 07 and 08 are clones of those too.

Edit: typo

Is this thread still alive? I hope so for I am curious about a particular ear tip. https://penonaudio.com/ePro-Propeller-Pro01-Silicone-Eartips.html I just saw this one, and apparently it’s from Penon Audio and they are called the ePro Audio Propeller Pro01. To any who have owned or experienced this ear tip, how are they?

same for me, I’ve ordered bigger now to try if size can help a bit out of curiosity, I also tried the AEX50, they work for few sets and you have to try every direction of the wings to know. if both these models where a bit firmer its a nice feel to them i think, other SMP implementations are not like that… other smp i’ve tried is spiral dots ++, ie45 pro and im thinking its whats inside the sony hybrids that came with the wireless things, its like a slightly harder version of acoustune stuff.

I got some with something, I’ll try them out on a couple of earphones to see what they do to the sound.

What are people’s favorite “new to you” tip from 2024? If possible list what they do to the FR for you on the sets you pair them with.

On my list to try at some point are these Divinus Velvets, seems I hear about them a lot. (Just read up above and saw Dom’s feedback on them, which only adds to their credentials!)

Edit: Hm looking at photos I’ve had a pair of DV at least at some point. I’ll check my stash to see if they’re buried in there!

Have you tried H570 Latex from AliX? These are my go to nowadays and also very highly rated in the tip rolling guide which is probably the best database for eartips and still gets updated

Here´s the website

and the google sheet which makes it easier to sort by rating

I also very like Spinfit W1 which is pretty much like Azla Xelastecs, just a little less sticky and with a longer life span

:+1: I have some H570 latex an I think I have the W1 in peach

I didn’t realize that database was kept up to date, good to know!

I’ve heard good things about the Eletech Baroque.

I´m also interested in the Baroque but its quite expensive and I got my bases covered…still curious though :see_no_evil:

I also develop a slight aversion when i read “luxury IEM eartips”

Speaking of ear tips people, are there any tips that I am not yet aware of but I should have been trying to get my hands on? For there are still some IEMs in my collection that needs a bit of changing when it comes to the tips, some new unfamiliar ones might help or something, thanks.

I’ve tried several after-market tips like Spinfit cp100, Dunu S&S, and Azla Max ASMR. And many stock tips.
My go-to tips are Tanchjim One’s stock narrow bore tips, which you can get on Taobao for 5CNY/pair.

Welcome to the forum! :hugs:

My most used tips is Divinus Velvets and Eletech Baroque. I have dozens upon dozens of different tips, and sometimes I have to try lots of them to get a comfortable good sealing fit.

Who can help identifying these?
