Listening to tonight (Part 1)

CD > TEAC P650-B (as a transport) > Geshelli Enog 2 Pro > Yamaha R-S202BL > Klipsch R-620F

I’ve seen a couple of John Adams fans on this post. The first link is an absolutely chilling rendition of a masterpiece. The second recording of the same piece, while the audio is not great, is a wonderful light show. The ending is an unbelievably powerful achievement.

Just finished a second full day of Miles Davis. I honestly did not realize how much Miles I had: 235 pieces of music composing 29 hours of listening pleasure. I am not a hard core jazz fan and it only occupies about 15% of my listening? But I do like it in small doses.

The highlights of today were two of my absolute favourites: Kind of Blue and Merci Miles! Live at Vienne (“New” live release)
