My Wife has been out of town the last few days visiting a lifelong friend, so I have had the run of the house! I am 2 cups into a pot of Christmas blend tea and have this on playing on the big surround system in the living room.
Itās always a joy being able to use this system for music. This CD transport works a treat. The SU-8 V2 DAC still kicks ass too! The surround processor on this amp is outstanding. I feel like I am sitting in the concert hall, center stage 5-10 rows back. Fantastic. And of course, the performance is wonderful.
I loaded up my Denon DCM-380 HDCD auto changer with some old favorites. Iām good for a while now!
EDIT: While the music plays, Iām watching Giants-Tigers. Absolute best of both worlds. Webb has another gem goingā¦

Yeah, this has been really fun playing with this system today. I have been optimizing it for music playback all day as I go along. Speaker placement/tow, As well as DAC and amp tuning. Iāve got her dialed in pretty well now. Itās wicked good. The 3rd disc is so good. KFOG Live from the Archives, Volume 10. Fantastic collection of live music.
What an amazing day for music. I took a break, grabbed a meal, watched some more ball, and am back at it on the desktop system. Spinning up a great one to start.
Amazing work here. I have always appreciated his style. I have the PA02s in again and they are shining with acoustic music. I am very happy with them.
