Did a deep dive on Jazz on Sunday. Ruled some out, bought some new and made a Long list to research.

Listening to my favorite Beatles album for the first time in years. This new 2022 mix is pretty fantastic. Less aggressive stereo mixing (which is a god send for me) and a thicker more substantial low end is really nice.
Not sure if this is true or not, but it almost seems like there are some modern over dubbing going on - there’s a lot more detail to be heard in the background.
Regardless - I didn’t realize how much I needed this at this point in my life.
