Had to have a session tonight, I havenât been in here all week! I am giving this one another spin. I discovered it last week and was intrigued by it.
I like to give new stuff (to me) more than one initial listen because you never catch everything the first time through. I like it even more the second time.

I had this on Cassette. 
Great stuff.
Been meaning to try this one out, and since it is funky Friday, itâs time to give it a go! This is âCrushâ by Lettuce. Digginâ it, though there is something off in the recording to my ear. Perhaps they intended for it to sound this way. Neither here nor there, still digginâ it. The drummer really does nice work on âPocket Changeâ. A fun listen, for sure.

She was 13, so at least she had a long life. Hit harder then expected, but that may be sheâs been with me for some of the hardest times of my life.

Copy that. Itâs never good nor easy to lose a loved one, especially with that kind of history. This is one of the more unsavory aspects of the human condition. That said, sheâll be in your heart forever. And thatâs good thing.

Getting a little deeper into the guitar vibe tonight. Massive respect for this man and his work. Havenât heard this album before and had to call it a night the other night, so I am performing a re-do! So far, itâs wonderful. The setup is doing well also. Iâm really getting the amazing tone of his guitar.

Going even deeper, I found an album I was aware of but never listened to until tonight. I am enjoying it very much. This is the âOracleâ album by Michael Hedges.
As this album goes on, I am realizing how beautifully done it is. The compositions, the arrangements, the playing itself - fantastic. Great recording too. Itâs putting me in a warm place.
