Excellent. Always a good day when I’m able to turn someone onto something new that they like. I come from the opposite direction from you re: heaviness/metal leanings; but noticed a bunch of recs from you that I either knew and love, or hadn’t heard, but now love.
Def jealous of some of your equipment, can’t wait to get some upgrades and rehear things “for the first time”

I’m happy the rec’s went both ways and I was able to return the favor. I gravitate towards what are you listening to type threads for just that reason.
Currently listening to my Cypherus Audio Black Edition Custom Retune buds through my Cayin N8ii. I’ve got a 2015 album entitled The Oblivion Particle by Spock’s Beard up in my queue currently. These guys are a fun listen. SB is just a great group of musicians who play at a high level and don’t take themselves too seriously. One of the best neo-prog acts out there.

I was listening to this GoGo Penguin CD today and this song came on while I was in the kitchen.
I stopped what I was doing and ran back into the living room so i could enjoy the deep bass emanating from my set up of 3 @ SVS SB 2000
subwoofers…

Thank you…I absolutely did…The wife and I were going to go up to New York for CanJam this weekend, but I had some health issues I was dealing with and we unfortunately had to cancel…We still had a great weekend and got to hang out with the family and friends.

GoGo Penguin is so good! Great music for chillin’. It’s so low key, but they play so well that it’s still quite engaging. They strike the perfect balance there. Nice rec!
