Snipping tool and ctrl+V also works great. You don’t have to save the image first or anything.
Holy mother of god, The liquid spark has some slam coming from the K5. Can’t wait till the E30 comes
Update about 15 minutes later- It actually slams harder on the K3.
I personally wouldn’t think this is the case but idk. Could be something up with a dac but not sure, I again would give it a few days with the spark, then go back to the k3 and see if you notice some differences
I ment the K3 going to to the spark right now is the best combo. The K5 going to the spark still gives that sharp treble but the k3 going to the spark is kinda muddy at lower ends but perfect at top. I hope the E30 fixes the muddy low end.
Should be able to. Also doyou maybe have the bass boost turned on on the k3?
I think a dac might help this here
Yes I have the bass boost on on the K3.
Son of a bitch, I could have gotten a Schiit Magni 3+ and a loki and just tune down the treble.
I mean you could have, but that’s an extra 100 bucks onto the 3+
The total for the magni and Loki is $285. At that price I just hope the E30 is good so I don’t have to spend more money. If the E30 isn’t too my liking I might just use the K3 as a DAC.
Wow, so this is what a legit DAC sounds like. The E30 is so much different than the K5 Pro. My entire instruction manual for my E30 came in Chinese so I don’t know how to change any of the settings.
The E30 is so much better than the K5 Pro.
Glad you are liking it so far lol, it is pretty sweet, did it address some of the issues you wanted it to?
It’s not as harsh as the K5 Pro, so yes, but it also does not have as much bass as the K3 with the bass boost button on, however it is a more refined sound in every way.
If you find that you still want more bass, using apo eq + peace should be simple enough, and if done right you should be able to give a nice bass bump without a large quality hit
what is it called? And are both free?
Just look up equalizer apo peace and find a nice tutorial, it’s a really good free systemwide eq and interface, and you can use it to give yourself more bass presence if you feel the need
Yes, and it would allow you to add a bit more bass if you wanted to from the k3, and right where you would want it, so I would play around to find out where you want the bass boost (and also make it not as aggressive)
