Doh. My bad. Forgot the closed-back requirement. Pretend it wrote HD 569, then, grin.
There’s a PM-3 on a reliable used site here in Canada for the equivalent of 240 Euros. Shipping and duty would probably kill that, I suppose. But getting started buying used in the European Union might be a good thing to do.
OK. Never mind. Forget it I mentioned either one, grin.
Getting a pair of headphones that ship from inside Europe would definitely be nice for me! I avoid 20% import tax and get them much faster… but not sure how many manufacturers ship from inside of Europe I think Audio Technica does.
Price wise I think up to 400$ or 350 euros is fine
I’m fine buying open box if it’s a reputable site and or seller. Countries to buy from as said preferably from European Union I don’t mind buying from outside if I’m buying from someone willing to pack and ship it properly ( with ups or something similar)
A large number of manufacturers are based in Europe. AKG, beyerdynamic, Focal, and Sennheiser spring to mind. These are all long-standing, well-regarded companies. So surely they’re readily available there?
Pretty good for me, isolation and build is solid overall. Also they run just fine off a phone so no dac/amp needed. Balanced sound too (at least the pro version is)
They are 300 usd new in the US, so I would say that’s a pretty good price. Also look for an open box and see if they get cheaper (although the new price is pretty good)
