I didn’t realize my m6 was to such a level of badass for $150
I mean it could power them imo. It would also do a pretty decent job imo. You could get better sound with some of the other options, but the m6 is pretty good for the price

I see a lot of people talking about powering stuff off of phones like Oluv and I thought the m6 was equivalent to that.

The mojo looks pleasantly small. Maybe not as great of a match as the a3 but I’m hearing from you that it might be more of a downgrade to even stack with it 
For the hardest to drive headphone on this list… Which I think is the 1990 anyway, what kind of benefit would I even get for that extra $300?
Because that is also the price difference to the M11 from the m6
So, compared to going out of the m6, with most of the headphones, you might see a better bass response, more detail and a cleaner signal, more headroom, a lower noise floor (maybe), and potentially better imaging/soundstage
An amp does more then volume and provide more headroom, it can also effect the sound in other ways

The Mojo is pretty incredible and powers almost every headphone I own as well as my desktop options. I don’t recommend the Poly now that I’ve had both for awhile, but I would recommend the Mojo without reservation. I much prefer it to the Monolith THX portable

Well shit, I wish I was able to get all of those and test them out, please tell me how they all are when you get them! We have similar desires for our headphones so it would be interesting to hear about it. I think I’m just going to bite the bullet and get the Elex at 600, I hope I’m happy with it

From the positives I’ve heard of the LCD1, an Elex/LCD1 duo would leave you with a nice set of different sounding headphones with solid build quality. I’d personally keep all 6 because I have no self-restraint

As long as you buy from a seller that has a free returns policy and you work within their rules.
The only one that doesn’t have that is the Elex, so yeah today is the day to get it. If they are not the ones to keep for me then I’ll probably be able to sell them for the 600 I got them for after they go back up to 700.
