Has anyone tried the heresy with very sensitive IEMs? I’m thinking of buying these and using my E10K as a DAC, with the e10k I can’t turn the volume past 1 without going deaf, 2 if I use the EarBuddy, and I get the idea that there’s a slight channel imbalance at lower volumes.
Bonus question, how do you think the sound itself would be affected by using the heresy as na amp if at all?

I’ve listened to them with KZ ZS10 Pro’s, they work well but the issue is that you can only about 1/3 of the volume on low gain. Sounds great but careful.

Hmm and my IEMs only have an impedance of 15Ohm compared to yours with 24.

If you lower the volume from your DAC you will be fine. Or you get put a Schiit Sys in line and just turn down the volume.

How did you get the heresy with a light indicator?

It was an earlier model revision. If you purchased it sometime before February I think they came with the front indicator lite. It’s a mid model update. I know mine from December has the indicator light.

if you want to do the less analytical and more “fun” sounding 3+, how does it compare to the liquid spark

Finally got my Heresy. :grinning: And here is my stack, so far I like what I’m hearing.

I’m looking for a bit of advice from all the Magni 3+/Heresy owners.
I’ve recently bought a pair of DT990 250 ohm headphones and was advised to get a warmer sounding amp. Out of the two which is the warmer sounding, The magni 3+ or the Heresy?

I also own the K702, HD58X, SHP 9500 and X2HR (These will be getting sold though)

I’ll be using my G6 as a DAC for now.

Magni 3+ but it’s not a huge difference.

Thanks, I think since posting that I’m going to order the Asgard 3 instead.
