^^^ x1000âŠRecording + dodgy Youtube + your chain + your set = but good for entertainment none the less
Yes, i watched it all. Theres simple notes you get to take like note weight.
Its obvious on the mests parts the difference in resolution to the other sets. I enjoyed the tracks as well
Kinda late to this. Bass isnât lacking, but not for bassheads. Theyâre a sub-bass focused IEM, so the experience can be weird.
I kind of think of it as âpolite bassâ. All the bass is there, and in good quantity. Most IEMS focus more on mid-bass where most music plays in. Teas have that, but itâs not THUMPING like other IEMs, but not missing at all. And then when sub-bass is needed, itâs there. Other IEMs tend to have stronger mid-bass over sub-bass so when the sub-bass kicks in, itâs light, and the mid-bass tends to color the mids.
The bass aspect lends the Teas a very versatile aspect. For some songs when the bass isnât a big star, the bass is there, but not making itself known too much. When sub-bass comes in, itâs there without blending into the mid-bass.
Compare this with the Fiio FH3, which I think has more sub-bass, but that sub-bass bleeds into the mid-bass. They are bassier for sure, but this tends to make not-so-bassy songs more bassy on principal.
Compare to Blon 03s, the mid-bass is the star and THUMPING to everything, but the sub-bass is almost not there at all. Itâs like a ghost in the background.
Teas are like a super-well tuned subwoofer. Itâs there when needed, not there when not. FH3 is the subwoofer with a higher crossover and more gain. 03s is a cheap subwoofer that canât reach low, but still musical.
Welcome to community bro. Salute đ
Ok, the teas are here, but I am already into a major problem.
When I put them in, seal pressure. Holy god, thatâs an awful feeling. And they sound tinny as crap when it happens. I am already tip rolling like a crazy person. But, how do you deal with a pressure seal creating a vacuum thing?
This is entirely new for me. No other IEM has done this.
I am afraid to take them out once I get a non-pressurize seal.
Thatâs pressure build up turning into driver flex. That was a common problem on first revision since the old model had smaller vents. Some people have noticed it but for a small period of time (1 day or couple days). Old revision, some people used foam for months lol.
Thereâs 3 ways to do it if you canât take it:
- Burn it in with something covering the tip (like those tictacs).
- Burn it in on ear using foam (foam sound ass to me on Teas).
- Burn it in normally, open aired.
Try to use not so sealed tips or try to open your ears before inserting. Donât insert too fast.
Man, I had no idea what those people were talking about. Now I do.
I can get a good fit sometimes, but if I have to adjust for any reason, bam back.
Are we saying that if I let this thing burn in with pressure build up, this will go away?
I was about to try foams. The built in tips were a no. epro horn tips (even in medium) were a no. sedna earfits, no. crystal, hell no.
I may try cp145 simply because they have fixed weird issues in the past. But I havenât yet.
Doing foam right now.
On hibrids, yeah. I even had that problem on FD5 and itâs an open back single-DD
On full BA sets, pressure is forever
I pull the top of my ear up and backwards a tiny bit to break the seal for one second and even out the pressure.
Yeah, no pressure, but I see what you mean about foams. I think these are dekoni somethings. And I donât like foams for a lot of other reasons.
That would be a hard no. Let me know how RSV goes. cause, thatâs probably a ânot in a million yearsâ situation for me.
Dekoni sound like shit to me. I heard Zeos when I started⊠Damn.
Can tell you right now itâs a no go then. RSV isnât vented. Even lokahi, SA6, etc are vented u still get some pressure.
You have to keep in mind your brain is panicing as well. Uâre not used to it, itâs the first time you getting that⊠Try spinfit CP100/145 or Radius deep mount
PS: My EJ07m did build up for 2 days, and itâs a vented tribid
I mean, the pressure sucks. But the sound goes to garbage too.
cp145 in medium seem to âsettle inâ and the pressure gets released after a few seconds and sound goes to normal. Also, I love these tips on EVERYTHING. so, bonus.
Interesting.
I donât think the pressure being continuous is something I could adapt to. But getting used to it venting as I start listening would be ok.
However, these are going to be damn near impossible to compare to my other IEMs directly if this isnât a thing that goes away on insertion. No a/b or back and forth with these.
Ok, gonna try and keep them in for a while. But all the in/out has already built up burn/itch. Probably only get a short session today.
Let them do their magic over night. Keep Spinfits on and tape the tip bore somehow.
That wonât last forever and your brain also canât process it. Youâll get more and more used and it will âbreak inâ. Also, when it driver flex, donât remove it, just break the seal by pushing ur ear or something.
I got full pressure buildup on HBBâs Xenns UP with CP100 every day I got it to do the review.
It seems that I can get a good quick fit with cp145 medium. (excellent actually. This is up there with the best fit I have ever had).
Will see how they do in the morning. but right now, things are looking good.
Good IEMs. I have a lot to say about them. Already have several pages of notes.
Teas will just keep surprising and growing on you. The more balanced tunings are, to me, the ones that need more time. Once you get it⊠Boom.
Great, after searching the word âteaâ, I got nothing but Mangird Teas showing up on my feed all the time. Goddamn! even my browser is also telling me to get them like âWhat the fuck are you doing and waiting for right now?! BUY THESE!!â
I will, I swear I will, but it will take time.
That⊠thatâs what I mean.
