I tried several cables with Tea, with their cable the sound is the best so far. Otherwise, there are more beautiful cables. Does anyone know a cable with which Mangird sounds better?
This is the one that sounds better to me. Gives note weight and enhances treble, wich brings out more details that Teas need. Also tightens the bass but elevates the sub-bass area. Mids get more richer and textured.
Iâve only had it for a while, but since @Rikudou_Goku recâd me it, itâs been a journey. I think @Resolution also uses it, if not mistaken, altho I wouldnt match it with spinfits.
Pretty sure itâs the cable used by @hawaiibadboy on his video review.
Just use whatever sounds better to you. Most of use here donât believe in cables. Thereâs an argument to the teas, since the stock cable is kinda out of phase on the last revision. Some people like it, some people donât.
Hahaha. I definitely wouldnât buy it. I would buy directly Mest MK2 :)))
Now on a serious note, I donât believe on it, but if you believe in cables, Iâd get a Silver or Hibrid cable for Teas. People report that silver âsoundsâ better on it.
I tried Linsoul Nymph, the middle bass doubles at the expense of the subass. The depth of the sound stage is lost and the sound is slightly muted.
You probably just prefer stock cable! Use it and save some bucks
I rec thisâŠ
or thisâŠ
Not stating that they sound better or do anything specifically to the sound vs any other cable.
BUTâŠ
They are some of the best measuring resistance cables you can buy today⊠I love the way they look, behave and feel.
Slams head to desk
So itâs been a while guys and just asked the shop when the Tea will be arriving so we could schedule me going to their shop to demo. Aaaaaaand apparently it seems that the supplier cancelled their order.
GreatâŠ
I admire your patience. By the time youâve been around and waiting I already had my Teas and my TSMR Land on the way. đ€·
Itâs a quality in this hobby!
Not much I can do about it, I mean yeah I can go right ahead and buy it blind from online, but itâs gonna be my first piece of serious/pricy gear so I would really want to demo it first if I can. Iâve always had decent earphones since my dad is an oldschool audiophile so he kinda knows about what to look for.
The customer service of the shop has been great the guy responds really quick and doesnât try to shill other products when I really am only focused on the Tea. He also confirmed to me that itâs Mangird themselves or at least their official supplier that have been the problem as a supplier since apparently they canât keep up with the demand for the Tea? Not entirely surprised on that front since they are able to list the pricing for the Tea in the usually accepted SRP of 300$ without any noticeable markup

On a semi unrelated note DD Audio on Lazada has in stock exactly ONE Thieaudio Oracle thatâs ready to ship if ordered today
They are prolly also working on xenns up as well. It has a 2 week queue by this time.
That is linsoul. They have no oracle stock, but you can ask. I asked last week and there was a 4 week queue.

Well the thing is that the shop had ordered from them a couple weeks ago, then was told theyâre on their way and should arrive around the 2nd week of September, then when I asked today the shop said that they cancelled their order, so I have no clue what to make of that.

They sent me a link to their updated item page on lazada earlier this morning. I did actually ask, âIs that ready to ship?â and they just responded a couple minutes ago and said, âyes ,you can order ,we will shipping todayâ
That is great
Yeah, Iâm guessing itâs because of Lazada as a seller platform where they can only list things as either in stock and ready to ship or out of stock and can only be added to wishlists. They canât have people order then put them on a waiting list unlike on their main website or AE since Lazada has a rating system based on chat response, delivery on time, and based on the reviews of the products they put up on their store there and waiting lists might count as delayed shipments which will mess with their 99%+ positive rating on the site
OoookayâŠso now in a bit of a buyerâs pickle right now and looking for some advice guidance. Probably @Resolution would be of great help here.
So I have been planning to get the Mangird Tea but demo them first in a local shop, but problems arose and it seems theyâre not gonna get them here any time soon. So I was gonna get them at the 9.9. sale over on Lazada because Iâm getting a little antsy, plus theyâre going from $300 to around $270 vat and shipping included which is pretty good all things considered.
But going through Lazada had me need to go through the matriarch to buy them. Now I explained what I wanted to get and that Iâll pay for it buuuut she was quite adamant sheâll pay for it and then asked about the brand itself and to put things simply the family is quite hesitant for anything from China. She said sheâs fine even spending twice or even thrice the cost of the Tea so long as Iâm sure that itâs quality and durable because itâs gonna be an investment for something thatâll last.
So now hereâs my pickle, with most budget constraints now essentially gone, within reason.
So for those that have owned the Tea how has it held up over the course of owning it? Howâs the build quality held up?
Itâs pretty much gonna be my daily driver if I really like it, which is basically 8-12 hours of daily use and pretty much 24/7 connected to my laptop and maybe some phone use if Iâm gonna go out.
Kinda just looking for extra reassurance since budget is now freed up and I can pretty much get something like the Thieaudio Oracle or what the hell even the MEST mkII if Iâm feeling really insane.
I did jump into this community looking for probably what may be the last set of earphones Iâll buy for the next 10 years and the Tea looked like a really strong choice for that, but now with a few more options opened up to me would it be worth stepping up a bit more? If not and Iâm gonna stick with the Tea then whatâs a good explanation to go with to ease their worries on getting something from China because even with the discount 270$ is still a fair bit for anything small and pure purpose like an IEM
Youâre all over the place man. Breathe in, breathe out.
First, build quality wonât be a problem in any of your options on the table.
Second, youâre once again comparing horses to dogs and cats. Thereâs no âthis is better than thatâ in this hobby. Thereâs preferences. You can discuss something has better detail or resolution, sure. But whatâs your main preferences? Whatâs your prefered FR? Youâre thinking about spending big boy money on something but you have to find yourself first. Trust me, blind picking costed me money a lot of times.
Third, Tea is my favourite IEM that I own. Itâs probably on @Resolution top 5 as well. But anyone would be crazy to say âYou have the budget for Mest, but get Teasâ.
Forth, do you know what type of driver signatures you even prefer? Like single DD vs Hibrid vs Tribid? Horses to dogs to cats.
I donât get the âChinaâ part tho, because Thieaudio, MEST are also chifi.
