🔶 Mangird TEA (6 BA/1DD)

Vasix, no one spat on you. You were listening to something that no one else was. You had a defective unit. You loved it after they replaced it, didn’t you?

Guys, this is budget Chi-Fi aka NO QC poop fiesta.

Silver mesh on both sides on mine.

Looks like I already did a good job on step one since I already own my set of Radius Deep Mount tips. Looks unusual but it works and yes it produces a lot of soundstage.

Both of the vent meshes are black on my pair.

The heck??
So did I get a pair that was visually a (mesh) hybrid? :joy:

Drop mashup

Silver with red/blue ring

Bought on late June 2021. Delivery took some time because of new batch.

Both vents are black on mine.

Damn, I wonder if the insides are even remotely similar.

Keeping an eye on these for 11/11, just wish it had a more mid bass focused shelf for my taste. However if the GS Audio GT12X is out before then I might go with that instead in light of the QC issues the tea’s are having. The treble of the non-x GT12 looks really similar to the tea graphs I’ve seen so I wish someone would do an actual comparison of how a similarly tuned all BA set with 8 (bellsing) twfk drivers and 4 sonion bass drivers hold up against the tea’s. I imagine the teas will be a bit better since they use 4 fairly good sonion drivers for the mids, but it is also a more expensive set.

Speaking of which, which set from GS Audio would you say punches around the same level as the Tea? Or outperforms its target price bracket? Would GD5 be one of those that outperforms its price?

They cant. Unless you wanna spend twice the teas price

And don’t get me wrong, I love BA sets.

Both of my mesh on mine are black is there really that many qc issues with them going on? I got mine from linsoul a couple months back and no issues out of mine yet knock on wood.

I don’t think there are indications of there being a lot of QC issues.

Happy customers just don’t make as much noise as those that are unhappy.

This is very true love my Teas I wouldn’t change much about them at all. Just hope they last me a good long while. If anyone who wanted to know they sound amazing on the ifi go blu I received today.

Teas are my favourite IEM for a reason. And I’ve tried and owned more expensive stuff. They are officially in a storage box and only come out to kick other iems in comparitions :love_you_gesture:

I also like Tea, but I will buy another set for my collection in at least a year! I feel the lack of this kind of sound signature :upside_down_face:

I think (and this is from a hazy memory) that there was an update to them which improve the quality of them, not in terms of sound but build. This was a year or two ago.

The older revisions may be suffering from poorer build quality.
