LETSHUOER EJ07m or Softears RSV

EJ 07m - more musical and dynamic than Tea, with a slightly better soundstage and airiness (not so much back performance) and good highs! :1st_place_medal:

EJ07/EJ07m share the best Imaging Iā€™ve heard.

Iā€™d say go for EJ07m for sure :fire: (they might still be on sale)

Either you are a newbie that I doubt it or you are lying. In audio, the more expensive better rule does not apply and in this case the ej07m will be better but not 3 times better. Apart from that, it is completely subjective.
Reviewers I donā€™t trust put the ej07m below the tea (gizaudio).
Many others say they give frequent QC problems.
Others like BGGAR put an A ranking while tea has an A-. I think spending + ā‚¬ 600 on this headset is not a good buy. I almost prefer to go to something better endgame.

Heā€™s just having fun lol, donā€™t worry about it hahaha
But EJ07m is definitely the upgrade youā€™re looking for, and itā€™s not 3 times more expensive than Tea. Where did you find that price and the QC reports on 07m?

Everyone gives some ratings! Everything is subjective. The Š¢ea is good, but 07m is much better! Whether it is two or three times better is also subjective and depends on the library, your ears, etc. According to Crin, some IEMs are (S), according to others they are (B) ! Whether you spend more or less is your job!! Maybe you are a novice if you think you can always get an upgrade by paying the same price :joy: .

If you want to go up from the Tea (itā€˜s special spice being the incredible midrange) you might want to consider the ThieAudio Oracle.

That set has an incredible tonality and timbre. Can play pretty much every genre without fault. Big recc from me.

Beyond that, itā€˜s very hard to answer. I had the chance to demo both the EJ07 and EJ07m, and while I can say that they definitely are great IEMs, something about their treble tonality bothered me enough to not buy a set in the end back then. BUT, you might like them!

As mentioned before, the Softears RSV is a straight Upgrade as well, but also much more expensive. And given that I find the Midrange between the RSV and Variations to be very similar, I would rather get the Variations if someone would ask me.

Tell me a set 3x better than Teas, and I will wait.

EJ07m is the upgrade youā€™re looking. If you wanna go far beyond on that, you can always look at Mest Mk2, but we all know how that goes regarding Dimishing Returns.

EJs have a cult following for a reason. you either love it, or your donā€™t. Same goes for Teas.

No one is trolling you, relax.

Although I think RSV is a nice tea upgrade (and regarding warmth and note weight, even more than EJs), it will need power and itā€™s a full BA set, so EJ07m is an easier rec for sure.

I donā€™t find mids on Variations or RSV even remotely close. RSV mids are forward, warm, thick, holographic, natural - Variationsā€™ mids feel the exact opposite for me.

Iā€™ve been in the chifi and in the audio in general for about 3 years and one already ends up getting tired. The only way to know if you will like a sound is to try it, but this is impossible, thatā€™s why reviews are used and it is increasingly clear to me that I do not coincide with any of them, even though I have looked for someone who listens like me! But when I think I find it, there is some review or reviews that I disagree with.

Regarding the tea I still have to test it against another and based on that I will see what I do. The only candidate is EJ07.
For example, in over ears the sivga robin if I consider it an improved mangird tea with more scene in width, height and depth with the same or greater naturalness of the tea in mids and highs and lows somewhat more present.

What are you even talking aboutā€¦

Sivga SV021 cannot even win against some good headphones around its price tag, let alone IEMs around the $150 mark. Using headphones to compare with an IEM is also difficult since like the stage (ā€œsceneā€???) youā€™re talking about can be due to the fundamental build differene between headphones and IEMs. One is over ear, one is in ear, how are you even supposed to compare?

And you say youā€™re 3yrs into chi-fi?

Since I own both EJs and you know how I also feel about Teas, I can help you if you ever need to test stuff or ask questions. Feel free to PM.

You canā€™t compare obviously, Iā€™m just saying that Iā€™m looking for an improvement in sound.

Thatā€™s my opinion, yes, I consider the Sivga Robin a revelation. I have tried it together with the M1060 or the Sundara and the Robin apart from looks good, is more comfortable, maintains the clean sound of the Sundara, is more fun and has a good scene for a close back in x,y and z axis.
But this post is about the mangird tea and I see that now you will come with a thousand models saying how can I say such a thing. This is my opinion. Just as you have one based on your perception I have mine.
