Ohā€¦ well Iā€™m hoping they are good. someone in Zeoā€™s discord server recommended them to me and told me they are extremely good value tubes. just wanted to get more opinions from anyone else that possibly used these tubes.

Oh no, my bad - but I see Wave already chimed inā€¦
I got these MFR: Amperex 6922 /E88CC, Gold Pin (PQ)

They could be. I just havenā€™t heard them.

I think these are identical to the ones I have:

Ebay can be a crapshoot so buy at your own risk. I also have a set of these:

It took about 5 or 6 weeks to deliver. They have great holographic sound but I went back to Amperex because of the more natural timbre. My understanding is they are a Tesla-branded copy of 1960s era Siemens tubes. These are a solid backup, though.

If you scroll down a bit on the link below, you will come up to a section about Bugle Boy 6DJ8 tubes. I would recommend reading it over.

Hello,
Does anyone know how it is with the power supply?
Could I simply have it imported to Germany on Monoprice and put a European C13 plug on it?
Or do I need a different power supply?

Alternatively, there is still the Little Dot Mk VI+ in the room, which would also appeal to me .

It says any Amperex tube from the 60ā€™s and 70ā€™s is excellent. so I guess I have nothing to worry about.

Check out the part about fakesā€¦just wanted to make sure you were in the know.

I did. It says itā€™s fake if it has the word bugle boy or the cartoon tubes on the box. the ones I bought donā€™t have that. also that if itā€™s fake the label wonā€™t come off the tubes.

Awesome. That is good news. Those tubes normally go for a lot more money, so it seems you got a deal.

May I reword that question for you?

Can anyone take a photo of the underside of the power brick?

Yeah, I guess I did. Iā€™m not too worried because the seller doesnā€™t have any negative feedback on his account.

That is even better! Also, thetubestore.com and upscaleaudio.com normally have been pretty reliable for me when buying tubes, so I can easily recommend them, should you want to purchase more tubes in the future.

Hope the tubes sound great for you.

Thanks! Iā€™ll definitely look there if I want to buy any other tubes eventually.

In what ways do better tubes change the sound anyway? This is my first time owning a tube amp and rolling tubes.

Well, it depends on the amp and the tubes of course. But typically, New Old Stock (NOS) tubes tend to sound more dynamic. They all do different things. Sometimes they will widen the soundstage, sometimes they will tighten it up for improved imaging, etc. It really does just depend.

When in doubt, you normally can buy GE or RCA branded tubes for a decent price. For the Liquid Platinumā€¦because there is a pair of tubes, you will want to make sure they are matched as closely as possible.

In the description it says the tubes I bought are a matched pair. so thatā€™s not a problem. I guess Iā€™ll just try them out in and see how they sound. if I donā€™t like them I can return them within 30 days.

also are these measurements for the tubes good?
It says one is 9100/10900 and the other is 9100/11000

That is goodā€¦you shouldnā€™t have any issues.

I think if you just got a cord like you would use on a pc power supply it would work? IT has the same D-shaped three prong. Unless Yours are that much different and its just not the wall /plug that is different than US

Yup, that famous ā€œIEC 60320 C14ā€-socket (C13 is the cable that goes into that).
