I have the lcd1. Ordered the m570 today out of curiosity and they should be coming tomorrow. I’ll put a first impressions and comparison on here.

How are you liking LCD1?

I’m really enjoying them so far. Stock pads are too small for my ears so swapped hm5 pads on to them. They actually fit around the ear cup and it doesn’t affect the sound. These headphones are perfect for heavy metal.

From what people are saying, these are the best monolith headphones. Metal571 even said that is the case, but it still has some of that ringing and slightly off with other things. I have the Sundara and don’t want something that sounds the same. LCD1 supposedly sounds similar so hopefully the m1070 will be what I’m looking for.

I don’t think the LCD 1 is very similar to the Sundara or the M570

Well some of them are saying that over at head fi. I wonder if the LCD 1 will have a different enough sound.I’m looking for a large planar that’s more dark or warm.Had a very bad experience with Verum and ain’t fucking with them like Metal571 did. Maybe the m1070 will be a possible future choice.

I would say the LCD 1 is a fair bit more warm with better bass, a more relaxed yet accurate sound. I wouldn’t say they are super wide, but they might fit the bill in other aspects. But the m1070 does look promising

Yeah that place…lol. I get mail over from their and they were fighting, dude talking crazy to this broad. Metal571 had somebody trying him, he said he should of have never commented on head fi again.

It’s set for a 12/22/19 release, but in the questions section someone Asked about the release date, and their answer was late November. Hopefully it’s the truth.

I second the foreskin issue

But this is actually a pretty exciting development. Being able to use different kinds of pads seems like a big deal. Wondering if new combinations will be found that lead to a different sound.

I think I already like the 570 more than the lcd1.
