Monoprice Retros vs. Koss KPH30i

Not knocking him, just stating from what I have seen lol

Can’t deny that logic

Define immediately resolving if you would mind

So I mean it’s pretty obvious that when you put them in, they have detail. They like to present that detail right to your face and very upfront. The final still has good detail, it’s just not immediately shoved in your face, it’s there but you have to listen for some of it instead of it all being shoved in your face. A more forward presentation like on the kz can be both good or bad, good parts being that you get everything all the time, the bad parts might be that it doesn’t really sound that natural or lifelike and also can be overbearing with some tracks.

Tbh listening for the detail is sometimes better than getting all of it at once, because that what some mpows have done to me and Jesus does it hurt

Yeah that’s my experience as well lol. There are some situations where that’s valuable for music production but from my experience an overly detail forward headphone isn’t as desirable as you think it would be

Instruments and music are supposed to have subtly not ALL IN YOUR FACE WITH TREBLE AND BASS YEAAAAA. Aka mpow and beats

Not sure I would have any more clients for mastering if I shoved everything in peoples faces lol (which a surprising amount think they actually want, until they hear what that sounds like of course)

Hence why like, when I’m going to master with a sound bar I have it right in my face and move along the bar to pick up the different sounds. And with how y’all are saying the e1000 are practically the best for beginners in mixing I think I might just drop the cash on it

I don’t know about best, but it will be a solid pick imo

Correct, most viable for my situation.

Especially due to how I’m literally making music with the Korg M01D they’d probably work well enough.

Wait as in the ds one?

3ds but yep. I don’t actually have a pc and most mobile DAWs are pretty trash, paid or free.

Pretty versatile the little thing is but damn it is a hell of a set up to try and make music lol. Tbh all I need are the cans for mixing and I’ll be decently set. That and a good usbc to 3.5 mil adapter because fuck Google and the pixels.
