Moondrop KATO, KXXS successor IEMs

I never did but didn’t use them in any humid environments

How about cold weather? I mean inside home of course, but sometimes its so cold there’s humidity everywhere.

only time I got anything like that was using them after showering once since I still had some water deeper in my ears
weather/temps didn’t have any impact that I noticed but my room never got below 60 even with my window open in the winter (coldest day I remember was like -20)

The issues I got with my own set of Katos, would be its cable eventually stiffened due to the place that I am living and the 2pin slot from my right piece fell off in placement, therefore I had to open up and gut it out just to get to the 2pin and fix it.

It sucks that my Kato had to receive that treatment, due to the fact that Moondrop does not even want to honor the warranty of replacing it. I am pretty much still pissed at them for doing that, therefore leaving sour grapes in my mouth and it is disappointing. Most of their sounds are in my range of taste and sound preference, solid products but plague with QC issues and their customer support sucks.

Thay sucksbto hear Moondrop is not standing by their products. Well I can say thw Olina SE seens to be a sligjtly better tuned KATO. Ive had the Olina SE for 5 days now and I’m seeing why people lole them better than the KATO. Also costing $80 less is a big plus.

How do the technicalities on the SE compare to the Kato?
