Baller. Can’t wait to see pictures (unless you crash the forums with them, lol)
Maybe I’ll stick to photos from my phone from now on lol
Rythmik customer support is great. I believe it was Brian iirc. He gave me a call one afternoon and he worked with me optimizing settings and getting the crossover just right. Cannot recommend enough.
LOL @M0N has a way of recommending stuff that I’ve had to stretch for to get, but in his defense I’ve never regretted following those recommendations.
Agree so far had a pretty good back and forth via email dialling everything in
@db_Cooper its been awhile but #blamem0n is a thing lol …meant in the best way possible of course
I agree on the customer service thing with Rhythmik. I bought a gloss white L12 and wasn’t feeling the white grill… they said, no problem we’ll pack a black grill in there for you. Little things like that add to the whole of the experience.
Makes it feel like you are dealing with human beings and not just corporate BS.
@donjklassen, I’m sorry to be the party pooper but here goes. My room is 14x12 with an 8ft ceiling. 1 single REL T9i fills the room with good solid bass to include modern genre’s and techno, EDM etc. It slams allot harder than you would think a single 10 would But does it with finesse and control. I will warn you to wait a bit and listen to the speakers first. Depending on the style of music you listen to multiple large subs are not an absolute must IF you take your time with finding the correct location for the sub.
The REL likes/prefers/is recommended on corner placement and that makes life a bit easier too. High level inputs are preferred for your situation and the REL system will work with any amp you get. I am NOT knocking the rhythmics, especially since They were my own preferred First choice. I am simply flat out stating that a single large REL will work well depending on your room size and Musical preferences. Take your time, i also have used my little Falcons in my big set-up a few times and paired them with a pair of monolith 12” THX subs, ( Nobody denies the amount of output those subs put out.)
The Falcons are too small for that set-up (Large living room)and are very quickly overwhelmed with bass heavy tracks and more modern music. They play fine when Paired with softer genres at closely controlled volume levels in the big room, the room is just WRONG and inappropriate for such small speakers in anything but a near field set-up.
This is my advice and feel free to experiment as heavily as your wallet affords you. Congratulations and happy listening buddy👍
A little late to the party lol I have no regrets my man don’t worry I appreciate all advice (no matter how tardy lol). M0N did give me fair warning that setup will be very crucial and bass traps may be necessary so I’m not going into this totally blind. I do make quick decisions sometimes and they usually serve me okay or at least a lesson will be learned.
Really looking forward to working with all this new gear coming my way and dialling everything in
Ok, so i missed it somehow, which subs did you order?
2 Rythmik F12’s
Those are really great subs, if ever i change things up those are my next choice for my big room. Just take your time and tune them in, i was hoping to save you a few hundred possibly. Congratulations again.
The lesson you will learn: good bass
Man, I love the visceral feeling when the sound waves just slam into you. Can’t get it with any other headphone/IEM setup.
And into everyone else in the house or the neighbors! I only get to mine fully thumping when no one is home.
I love the clean look of the room. Looks ready for the subs.
Thank ya. I think of myself as a tidy individual lol.
And yes the room is ready and so am I
Wear baggy pants when you set them up – let them flap around, lol
Might come in handy for the subwoofer crawl too lol
