I know I’m sounding picky, but I am also blind so I would need a way to at least kinda wear glasses too at the same time less I walk into a wall or retain the ability to read.
yeah almost all the stuff I have found has been V shaped. which I like except for the pain.
Theres the Audeze El-8C: $300, The Meze 99 Classics or Noir 300-200. isnt the M1060 warm? the M1070 is newer and probable better at 399$ How would those stack up against the 58x?
I mean the kph30i and nighthawks are pretty warm without being a v shape and also have recessed treble
The Nighthawks are extremely comfortable. The bass is somewhat dependent on a good seal though. The HD6xx may be a better option if you wear glasses.
The M1060 or 1070 are def not warm. The EL-8C is a closed, and so are the meze
Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I don’t think I have heard a 6xx with harsh treble if it was on an amp
oops, i meant the open version of the EL-8
I found the EL-8C to have an awful treble peak, while the majority of the signature is mostly warm. The M1070 are some of the brightest cans I have heard, so I definitely wouldn’t consider them. Take it from me, the treble sensitive guy…
he said warm or dark. i would think the 58x and 6xx would not be dark enough
Wait the audeze lcd 1 barely makes your price range but would work
both of those are darker/warmer than any of Monoprice’s lineup of cans.
I would agree with the 58x, but the 6xx does have fairly rolled of treble compared to most headphones
LCD-1 are neutralish
True, it is warmer (but not dark and I think glasses would be an issue)
well i heard the m1570 was pretty dark. so i assumed the 1060 and 1070 would be also
Totally agree
I don’t think it’s that dark, it’s got plenty of treble for my liking
Phantoms
Just need to mod them a bit.
what kind of modding do they need?
