Thx man. Now I got 3 BA basshead sets: sound rhyme sr8, softears rsv mk2 and now the uranium. I’m set :joy:

Ok, I played around the switches and found that the 100 switch config isn’t enough to mitigate the high pinna gain. Another Uranium user said to set it to 110 and so far that solved the issue for now.

Here are my thoughts on the Valhalla and Uranium (000 switch config):

Bass: Uranium. It has better texture, impact and versatility from the switches. Bass quantity on both sound very similar.

Midrange: Draw. Valhalla sounds more organic and natural but slightly recessed. Whereas Uranium is more forward and lively but can get shouty/spicy due to high pinna gain.

Treble: Draw. Both have similar amounts of detail, energy, air/sparkle. Although on paper, the Uranium could be more airy due to the treble switch. But I didn’t try the 003 config so I can’t say for certain.

Fit and comfort: Uranium wins easily. The shell is way less contoured, more simplistic and smaller which makes it easier to wear.

Between the two I would still pick the Uranium mainly due to the useful switches. It helps me customize my preferred sound without EQ

Thx! But without comparison with some measurement stand adjusted target (Harman IE/JM1 etc) or other IEM’s measurements it’s not very representative.

you can check Squiglink - IEM frequency response database by Ozboyblu he has uranium in almost every switch config. hope this helps.

Thanks a lot! Looks sad though, 1-2k bump, very uneven highs with 11.5k peak. Butastur looks better to me (=
