During 11.11, I bought salnote zeros, tin p1Max and s12pro.
I spent the more time with the p1Max; they are good (especially for 80$), but arenāt astonishingly so.
S12 sounded great to me at first but on another listening session I found them a bit harsh.
With both sets, I noticed a difference between sources: they canāt produce good bass with the q5K, compared to my smsl ho100.
The zeros are the same story as the s12: I found it good at start, but on line sessions they have me a feeling of being cramped/too closed in.
All this may be due to global bad health tried with the new season here in Bretagne.
The next step for me is to spend more time with the s12 to get used to it, and organise a 100$ shootout: s12 Vs p1Max Vs olina Vs trn ST5. I continue postponing it as I already struggle A/Bing 2 setsā¦
On the bright side: with all these things to do, I donāt feel any urge to buy a new set (although I have several new additions on my radar).

I am pleased to say that I own a pair of ej07ms now. I ended up getting them for an absolute steal at $462 brand new. Now just have to wait for customs to stop dragging their hands across the floor so I can get them
Iām proud of my self (fluffs collar) I didnāt buy a single thing during the BF madness besides the Hexa from @Sonofholhorse - I had my eyes on them since they were announced and seeing that they were pretty new, I didnāt expect them to go on sale. Getting them second hand but basically pretty much brand new is a win win!

Also, Iām getting static/low-end distortions with the RSV at high volumes. Couldnāt hear it when I was listening casually at mid volume, so Iām not sure if thereās something wrong with the drivers (tried multiple cables and sources already) or itās just picking up albums with bad mastering since it doesnāt happen every time, and I didnāt notice it with SA6U or EJs Thoughts?
It wasnāt 11.11, but Thanksgiving Week for me. Decided to say f#ck it and ordered the Penon Serial and Vortex. Before that my most expensive IEM buy was the FiiO FH3. Even with a slight discount, my wallet is now $500 lighter. Buuut they are now my favorite IEMs so it wasnāt all bad. (Why I am I so shit with spending discipline)
Nope. Might just be picking up the micro-treble and air tbh lol. Mid-bass is super clean. Sub-bass only distorts when thereās high frequencies involved in some songs like Time By Hikaru Utada 0:40 onwards that has some autotune/reverb edit to it. Once you get the time, can you help me listen to Venice Bitch by Lana Del Rey starting from 0:49 (vocal static?) on other sets (like your big boi U12T lol) to see if itās the recording or just the set
Black Friday sales didnāt include any IEMs I had my eyes on. Instead I just bought a few cables and allocated the rest to the Meteor. Extremely happy with the choice. Meteor is still killing it even as the honeymoon phase is coming to an end.
