Great album. I have listened if hundreds of times. But I remember the live videos and there was a specific version of the around the world mix that was pure fire.
I was just listening Homework (amazing album) on Tidal (master quality) with the Clairvoyance, and some parts are very fun, for example the beginning of Da funk, or the beginning of Fresh, because all the natural sounds, the soundstage… Then there are a lot of good passages to test bass and sub bass, and to check if the treble is too hot.

I too use some daft punk tracks for testing, mostly from RAM because that album is mastered and engineered second to none. But if I’m checking if I really enjoy a set, I always turn to Voyager off of Discovery. My favorite dp song. That bass line is just

Holy molly 3D. It’s closer to UP’s presentation minus the warmth, and less from OG. Basicly it puts you in the middle of a circular band, but vocalist position is a step further than OGs, with better depth. Things coming from nowhere, everywhere.
This set treats eletronic like most don’t, and thanks to its bass driver configuration, is a force to be reckon. DD texture with BA speed? Hit me up with that.
Some things are bigger than music. I was about to write some summary about KZ CRN + recent purchases from equipment. I got covid yesterday, but that is nothing in comparison with what happened at night in Ukraine and what is happening still.
I have colleagues from there, I have friends in there. It is amazing how we all in Europe lived for past 30 in belief that history ended. It turns out it never did and what happens since 2014 looks like just a prologue to another dark chapter in history.
You may say that it is hypocritical - war never stopped to happen in Middle East and Africa - and it is true. But seeing live streaming of war just makes you think about how unimportant everything what you know, what you own becomes when you need to look out for your life and escape a home that you’ve been building for some many years thinking about a bright future.
I know you are from different parts of the world and narration probably may be diluted and it may seem really unreal. I was at the same spot til today. It now just got real. Today Ukraine, tomorrow Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Next would be Poland. It just sucks I cannot think to listen to anything. It also sucks that apart from small things like supporting to some humanitarian NGOs and local UA sellers I could do.

Yes! War is the most disgusting thing that can happen. I don’t think it will develop on a large scale, because these are Putin’s military actions, not exactly a war in the true sense. We in Bulgaria are already accepting refugees from Ukraine. And I haven’t listened to music since yesterday, I’m not in the mood for it! Let’s hope that everything will end quickly and without casualties! “Make love Not War”…
I’m interested to know your take between the tea 2 and EJ07m, I’m a little worried about the mid bass being slightly tucked in a bit too much on the EJ’s. Also which would you say is more holographic?
I will probably wait to hear your review on HBB’s EJ’s as well since its on your list to receive.
Fellow European here. I worked till late in the afternoon without hearing the news. I didn’t quite understand some of my colleagues side remarks, thinking they were just refering to the ongoing border situation in general. When I finally realized what was going on, I was pretty shocked and started to watch all the news, feeling more miserable and less knowledgable afterwards. The news was basically all about how Putin could possibly have done such a terrible thing, but I wondered why things came to this, which no one was talking about… so I educated myself a little bit (as much as you can in a span of a few hours)…
This may agitate you or it gives you at least some comfort (for me it was the latter), but after getting an actual perspective on why things developed the way they did, it seems to me that they’re isn’t a real threat to countries like poland. The news goes on about Putin being a lunatic war criminal, when in the 1-2 hours of news coverage I didn’t hear the word “NATO expansion” once and when watching Putin’s actual full length announcment instead of those 1-2 min out of context clips, he doesn’t seem to be nearly as lunatic. It may give also some comfort to know that non-NATO states aren’t nearly as opposed to russias acts in Ukraine as Europe/USA.

Damn, hopefully you get them back, I would hate to lose that amount of money just because of couriers.
Also good to hear the Tea 2 is very holographic, I was meant to buy the OG Tea ever since HBB’s review but withheld myself from spending that amount of money, though I kept seeing your god damn recommendation which persuaded me to almost buy them but I had to snap up the Olina as it was going for such a good price.
Feel for your loss as I know you really like them. I am starting to think I should wait and get some form of EJO7 ( og m or lava ) I want a big step up or as large as it can get lol
I will keep my fingers crossed that your EJ07M isn’t lost; that’s what happened to my OG EJ07. I had one of the EARLY early units that didn’t have the crossover board secured in the shell, so (with their blessing) I sent it back to Linsoul to be repaired under warranty (they worked fine, but a floppy crossover with only thin wires holding it together gave me pause). Once it arrived in Beijing, it was lost forever.
