Yap, thatās planar touch. The problem with those planars, especially Timeless for me is not the tuning or the sheer detail.
Timeless lacks a good stage and the imaging is blury. I also get a sense of too sharp transients in the treble, like itās too grainy. Again, a brilliant iem for the price and a break through in the current market. They are just different for me since Timeless sounds great on eletronic and for instance, I donāt like it with Jazz and Olina thrives on that.
About a sub-250 Teaā¦ Well, not much hibrids have been surfacing. Or even tribids. This yearās trend is clearly DDs and Planars. You already heard Olina and Timeless so, I wouldnt hold my breath.
Besides that, most brands avoid that price range. Focus as shifted to budget brackets and/or summit-fi.

If a supplier gave you a review set instead of buying with your own money and you give said gear a less than favorable review honestly that is golden in my world and exactly what I need to known. F the hype train!
If I wanted that I would go to the Penon thread.
With that said I can see why someone would not want to piss them off in fear of getting cut off thus the added moral issue of trying to stay objective.
Take the high road and walk the path say to yourself what would Budda do?

Thats what the PR suicide is, few companies want u to be honest and not just shill them to the moon. You do that and u get cut off, simple as that. (happened a lot to me lol.)

I have been approached by a few suppliers asking if I would do reviews and I always tell them upfront I will only provide my honest take of what my senses tell me. So far no takers LOL.
I would love to give my feedback on gear that I canāt buy but alas my kids university and family are first including my dog. Then my silly passion.
I considered myself a devoted audio Enthusiast who loves music as I interpret it not as a Audiophile. With my audio background dictates I wonāt always agree with the Manufacturer or the recording manager or even the artists as we all have different ears and what I hear is not necessarily what you hear I get that.
Love theese forums and reading others views. For that I am thankful knowing is growing!

You are misunderstanding my words and Riku is talking about something else. If something is bad, itās gonna get the slap. No matter the price, the brand or the seller. Letās just made that pretty loud and clear. I donāt shill, on the contrary. The proof of that is that brands like P**** avoid me since I wonāt be kind.
What I meant to explain is that if X is better than Y for me, of course I will say it.
What i wonāt do is finish off a review by saying āā¦ This is good but grab Y instead because itās betterā. Thatās what the comparison section serves for. That would be just plain rude and burn bridges on a āperpetualā article. If I think X is better than Y, i will demonstrate why and when on the comparison.
This is why sometimes I regret thinking out loud. Thereās now probably 10 people and 2 brands that gonna read this and take random conclusions.

Well thatās implied, to be fair. Just look at any reviewer opinion on dimishing returns. You will hear people like Crin saying you donāt need more than X amount of money or iem, the rest is just nitpicks. Heās EDC is Dusk. Sure, he could be saying that to promote but he doesnāt need to. He could say buy dusk and use Y iem since he has them all. Heās fav after dusk is Z1R >. >

Hahaha ok I just peed my pants a bit laughing when Geek World got mentioned. Funny earlier today I was just reading on a new post not here but on Facebook someone shilling the GK10 and decided to read a bit more. Pulled up the Sqig site to look at the graph. Honesty if it sounds like that hard to believe it is worthy of any mention.

No harm done. I used to be much harsher but I learned to focus my time and energy on bringing better options than to lose time with dead weight. I will have 2 spicy ones coming tho, ahahah. Sometimes you just gotta do it when it triggers you.
