An acquired taste, my friend - I’ll hopefully have some additional listening time with them in December when Goober and I meet up for a second time! I’ll have more definitive conclusions for sure.

Both Olina and Fan 2 are pretty freaking neutral but Fan 2 has a little more emphasis in the 150-600hz(ish) range. A little thicker but not muddy at all (because there’s no recess of the mids) and the BA mids really carry the weight well. Olina has more emphasis from 1.5-7k(ish) where on a song like Ego Death, the Fan has maybe the best drums I’ve ever heard. You are listening to the drummer live in the recording room to me, not hearing the recording of him drumming. Olina sounds pillowy in comparison.
But in the same song Olina has a better guitar playback. It’s crisper with more energy because it’s got better upper harmonics for that instrument than Fan. What tips it for me is the note weight because I want that bit of thickness that may turn some people off. The mids are just more forward on Fan 2 and it makes that music fucking JAM.

This is very cool little piece of device that I would probably almost never use, but would like to have at hand. Wonderig if it has TRRS 3,5mm that passes thru mic signal and if those buttons are for independent volume control 
On the other hand Q5k checks all the marks for that, but I don’t like using battery powered devices in that manner. And disconnecting and connecting over and over again triggers something bad in my lazy ass…

You have to keep in mind that the Fan 2 has 2DD/2BA (with Knowles doing treble) vs 1DD. The BA will cut through the warmth whereas the Olina treble replay is hamstrung by and beholden to the rest of the frequency range.
My 2 cents.
Oh I had no idea of the driver count. As far as penon sets go… I know nothing. Was basing my quote on him saying that Fan2 was warmer than Olina, which proves my point on saying it would be too much for me 
I never heard the Fan2 and probably never will, but I bet it is awsome at what it does

Driver config in my opinion can have great effect on intelligibility of the replay. Even if bass is similar in quantity, it’s broken up by having 2 DDs doing the work and as mentioned before, not beholden to the treble and vice versa. I think it could end up sounding leaner yet tighter because of these factors. Meaning, less perceived warmth despite what FR is saying.
But, but, even if you were right, we are not talking about graphs or I’ve never seen it whatsoever…
I’m comenting on the OP saying Fan2 is warmer (perceiving) than Olina…
His comment about calling them neutral double downs on my conclusion that they would be too warm for me. My definition of neutral is Etymotic, as explained before.

I am totally ignorant in diy and fixing iems. The 2pin socket of my aaw nightingale is really loose and the wont stay attached. What can i do myself to fix it?
Literally no idea bro, I’m sorry. If it cant be fixed in an excel spreadsheet, I’m out.

Thanks. Ill see what i can do. To claify my problem is the 2 pin will go in the holes and not stay attached. Not necessarily the entire female 2 pin construction. I dont know how to better word it
