Same here: 2 IVIPQ graphene cables; they behave soooo well! they look sooooo good!! the last thing I whish to improve would be the touch/texture (it feels a little bit too much like cheap scoubidou); I’d like to try it with fabric material on top, but I’m not sure it would’nt mess with the marvelous behaviour.

I wanted to try the JCALLY AP10 usb dongle, on the advice of several people, but the brand seems to have issues in the factory, so no unit has been able to be shipped yet (and the AliE seller wantes me to cancel my order).

So when I sum all that up, that makes it quite a big basket… 250$ for the iems, 80$ for the cables (and the boxes that come free with it), 40$ for the dongle that will never come…

I was gonna treat myself with some stuff for BF. I rly wanted to get a nice case for my collection and an Hexa for the memes. I ended buying neither…

I will say that I controlled myself and I didn’t buy a Mojo2 on sale (@pylaczynski can attest to this).

And you can live without them? You found better sets along the way?
I still miss my OG Tea set (still in surgery last time I checked: both DD had to be replaced , implying a change in FR); I got nothing at the same level of performance since then; in a way it isn’t surprising, as I stay under the 150$ mark for now (do price on sales count, or should I only check MSRP?). The more I think about it, the more I feel I have to go up to the $300+ realm to get improvements on separation and stage compared to what I already have.

I really want a mojo 2 now… I saw one on Head Fi classifieds for under $400 and regret not snagging it

I can attest that you were strong enough to tell yourself “I would buy this Mojo if the sale is still on tomorrow” and luckily for you it was not the case
On the other hand knowing the smokes and mirrors you normally do you probably bought it anyways, so… :man_shrugging:

I didn’t. I got poor on the process :upside_down_face: I had to spend money on baby stuff during BF. That was the biggest hit of my wallet, way more than audio…

Worth it, though!

I only bought two things during Black Friday (*)… and neither was an IEM.

(*) Excluding cables I ordered from Xinhs and extra tips I totally didn’t need but ordered anyway.

I bought an open back (and the Dekoni pads for it, but let it slide please) and a source.

Now, to repent from all of this, I also gave my collection away. Balance in the world? Please?

See? It wasn’t that bad…

Still in shock that this went down. Complete and utter shock!

Can you describe that static? I’m listening to it right now (LDR - Venice B)

PS: If you like that album from her, you gotta make RSV go through the last track

Oh I’m finally alone with my thoughts. Took a good while this time.

Let’s start with some hot takes.

December hot take #1

QKZ x HBB is the best 20$ IEM of the year.

That’s a bell pepper take. Jalapeño, at best

Not surprised, QKZ xHBB is something. It kicked my Blon03 on my rotation. Amazing Bass and Vocals for 20 bucks or less.

That’s all great, but what really kicks the ball out of the park for me is its extension for $20. Insane.

Not if I say I’d take it over all the other sub-$50 sets, including Cadenza

That’s spicier, yes.

We might be fighting over that one

I’ve seen worse, but that seems to be a general complaint somehow.

I prefer it to anything red :joy:

Sorry bro was on the clock, but ya basically there’s this static in her voice after 0:40.
And yup I have along with the entire album. Amazing album :metal:

Edit: It’s more obvious at 0:53+, and at 1:24+ as well

Edit again: I think it may be the adapter (I’m using a 4.4 to 3.5mm)

Edit again…: I have no idea anymore
