It seems most reviewers that got the SHIO got it together with the single DD “HOLA”.
The mid scoop + increased treble then dip is probably what’s missing. I think I still prefer them over the Zero - things sound more recessed but less shouty. It is what it is 
But man is the DSP smooth compared to the other budget sets. If it had more mid-bass + 2DD set-up to take care of the low-end it’d be killer, and some vents would be cool too LOL, and no noise floor XD
Admittedly the DSP looks so much smoother past 2k. On the Khan, that massive cliff at 10k followed by Everest at 15k probably isn’t doing the tuning up top any favors.

I don’t recommend the V6, I had it and it sounded veiled, blunted and low resolution.
You’re much better off with a powerful dongle and a phone with USB 3.0 output.
iFi Go Bar for example.

I already have it! It’s my first DAP since my old Sony NWZ-A17. Sure sounds different compared to my LG G8 QUAD-DAC phone. V6 is definitely warmer. Which DAP do you prefer ATM? 
Do you think it’s a good compliment to Tea 2’s or they’re too close from each other?
