Different strokes for different folks I guess

Totally someone might love this one, but what makes this planar driver different from the 3-4 others at less than half price unless i missed something?

It probably doesnā€™t do anything different! It might even be worse than those half the price. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Lol I meant the tuning HBB was going for.

Iā€™ve never heard of this HBB tuning. I had an EJ07M and sent it for retuning with max bass and reshell! I think everything about the tuning was done by Letshuoer and not by anyone else!

Congratulations!

I miss my Shanling Q1. How does the M0 Pro sound?

Itā€™s a fantastic little player with a meaty dynamic sound signature in line with the Shanling house sound itā€™s particularly good with the 4.4mm rat tail connection surprising power output for such a tiny device.

Oh sweet Jesusā€¦To start this little overview Iā€™m going to describe what I want from iems. FUN FUN FUN. Iā€™m not a microscope for technicality kinda a guy.

I want atmosphere, emotion, to get lost in the music. Close my eyes and let the music take me someplace.

The Legato take me to a sweaty nightclub with the bass turned up to max. The bass notes making my chest vibrate, punching me in the stomach.

Forget finesse these iems beat you into submission.

AC/DC - Back in Black omg Iā€™m transported back to the first time I heard it in a rock nightclub, sweat dripping from the ceiling. Thunderous heavy backing with piercing vocals fighting out the mix to great effect.

These iems are the anti simgot ea500 forget prim and proper rendition with fine etiquette these are steriod, vein popping bruisers.

Queen-Another one bites the dust wow! Authority of the groove is stunning the vocals perfectly rendered.

The overall sound is THICK, BASS is dominant Treble is energetic enough to slice through the thunder
MIDS are warm with texture. This is not a set for ā€œaudiophilesā€ this set absolutely is a set for 10 pints of beer, a dark sweaty nightclub with a packed dance floor!

Imagine hanging a pair of 2 channel hifi speakers either side of your head with the bass bins feeding directly into your eardrums, thatā€™s the the 7Hz Legato.

I love them BASS HEAD nirvana!

I am very satisfied with Shanlingā€™s after-sales service! An email sent by me with a question is answered after a maximum of 10 minutes, the answer is detailed and competent! Well done. :sunglasses:
The latest update launched the M7 into space. :rocket:

Iā€™ve always been impressed with them too - and for how long they continue to roll out firmware updates for their devices, they donā€™t leave models stranded because theyā€™re from the last year or two.

Poweramp Equalizer is much better now but you need to pay something like $5 after the trial expires. Itā€™s very much worth it though :+1:

Iā€™m not one to usually buy apps. But I agree, Poweramp is the gold standardšŸ‘

Hi @nymz I see you have the Clear. Did you do burn-in? How long of burning?
Thanks!!

Sorry, I misread you. I couldnā€™t make a direct comparison between the Sivga sv023 and the Focal Clear.
You were asking about focalsā€¦
The sv023 and the Elegia yes.
Honestly the Elegia made me widen my eyes. It may sound strange at first but for vocal, jazz, acoustic and other music I loved it. It sounded very dynamic to me, very sweet and more holographic than the Sivga sv023.
I understand that it may not be a ā€œcorrectā€ sound.

The Sivga if it is more correct. It has a more real timbre, more bass (the Elegia lacks a bit) and a bigger scene.
Iā€™m looking forward to doing a Sv023/109 pro/Clear OG comparison.

In the end I returned the Elegia and got the hifiman R9 closed headphone. If you want, Iā€™ll briefly compare those two.
