It all depends on your sensitivity to treble and the set you use. Last couple of months my volume knob has been going down, not up. My ongoing reviews are already at 75 dbs, and during the day I usually listen to lower than that on IEMs.
āNeedless to say that they lasted a couple of days, given Zeosā popularity among the Youtube crowd.ā
Good thing Iām not from that crowd! In fact, I consider Zeus to be a ridiculous reviewer who loves the shilling more than the hobby. Slight tweaks to the FR can be done by many people on this forum and it will be better, probably.
Otherwise a good review as always.
@nymz , will you be reviewing the Totem? I know youāre backlog is as long as the queue to get into the Louvre, so I understand if itās not in your radar
After the heaps of budget IEMs, is there one that can beat Olina SE? Iām just curious. @nymz , are you planning to check out anything from the TOTL range: Cadenza 12, Prestige, Mest MK2 (now with more conscious listening ). Any chance they will send them to you for review?
Prestige is very pro like, i would say. Has great bass, ok mids and very well extended treble (no harshness). To me it lacks a bit of personality/dynamics. I prefer the V16, but that has to do with my library and personal tastes. I wouldnāt go as far as saying its the best Thieaudio. Technically i would agree, but there is more to an iem then the technical ability. I would say a better oracle MkII, technical wise, definitely best bass Iāve heard from Thieaudio.
