this face plate would work well if the resin part was white, but with black resin it looks ugly.

Yes. I don’t like it at all and would never buy it over OG  .

It looks a little worse than advertised, but still beautiful to my eyes. They have gone a little too far with the elements on the gray. But it’s nice!

exactly, too much of those white/gray stuff ruined its classy look.

I guess the sound is better than the shell?
Did they fix the mid bass issue?

they say it slams. judging by the graphs, they reduced the subbass to achieve a better sense of slam and punch. when you boost subbass too much the bass hits become pillowy, blunted and kinda non defined.

If this is true and they kept the fantastic mids, then the Mon MK3 is shaping up to be one of the contenders for the best IEM at any price in the world! :beers:

well it won’t sound as neutral as monarch mk2 because of the boosted upper treble. but if you like treble its a better choice compared to mk2.

Asked, there’s no more samples, sorry.

Candy eartips → IE600–> liquid mids, superb guitars, great SQ!
Lately I’ve only been listening to IE600 and SA6MK2, I’ll post a winner soon, but I think… mmm this DD cohesion is out of this world :grimacing:

I recomend OH5. With a amp + silicone tips…for me OH5>Sa6Mk2>IE600

With DUNU HULK Pro mini (4.4) and EJ 07 KL (bass) it becomes a different beast, with much better timbre and separation. Breathing down the neck of SA6 MK2.

Who will guess which is the best looking graphic?

I can suggest: … Prestige OG

@nymz Will you try Ananda Nano?

For me the green on paper Sample Lin

  • A carrying case
  • A protective “sock”
  • 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter
  • Rubber rings for the nozzles
  • A cleaning tool and cloth

Frequency Response Graph:

First Impressions:

  • Same shell as Falcon Pro/Vernus. Gorgeous blue.
  • Plenty of accessories for a lifetime, including DUNU’s new case and great cable (DUW02 Pro). One of the best stock cables ever, imo.
  • The two tunning nozzles ain’t a gimmick, they actually work.
  • So far I do prefer the blue nozzle and I have a hunch that it is going to be the most liked one - I still need more time to fully assess this.
  • The gold nozzle is more palatable overall but I find the 1k sudden rise and peak to be offsetting the vocal timbre and separation.
  • The overall tonality of the blue nozzle is a mild-V, since the inflated 3-5k region is still pushing the mids more forward that it looks. I will call it a bass-boosted harman since the first thing that came to my mind was the Olina OG.
  • Despite not being my personal favourite type of tuning, I find it well done and well rounded.
  • The bass it’s by far its best trait and after switching to more narrow and deeper fitting tips (Final E), the impact is somewhat impressive.
  • Mid-range is warm tilted and boosted in the higher regions - this is my least favourite trait about the set.
  • Treble is fine and compensating the bass-shelf, only missing the last leg of extension.
  • Imaging chops and sense of dynamics are great at its price point.
  • I have an hutch that price will be its biggest con, given how tough the competition is atm.

Preliminary Personal Ranking: 5/10

Thanks for everyone that has been reaching out. My dad is still in the hospital but stable. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Sorry I haven’t been present much, lately. Here’s some cool pictures to make up for it.

I want to try it, but I don’t want to buy it rn. Open-backs as simply unusable for me right now.

A trusted source did tell me that Nano is insane, and better than XS for only 100$ more, which is already insane lol.

I’m loving mine so far, they definitely fill the Vernus-shaped hole in my heart. I think that they still hit well for the money, but definitely not a “one-size-fits-all” tuning, and people seeking all-rounders can probably be served better for far less money. They get my head bobbing and my toes tapping, and that’s all I can ask of a transducer!

Glad to hear that your pops is stable, hoping for all the best!
