That’s a pretty sexy price for a modular cable!
Anyone tried this cable before? (ping @Rikudou_Goku )

I think @Godria has some of their cables

Yes, that’s correct. It’s an okay cable. But I wouldn’t buy any cables from them again …

Cuz one of the replaceable plugs (2.5mm) fell apart from its housing which is weird, cuz I don’t use 2.5mm more often… I also didn’t like the feeling of the cable as well.

The cable I have is the leyding (2pins, and MMCX)

That’s even way more expensive than the Ace on AliEx…
Guess I still stick to the single connector system.
I also had some bad experiences with Moondrops modular connector.

I think XINHS can make modular connectors…

Me too I would stick to the single connector :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Nope, but Kinera doesnt have a good reputation.

The cheapest modular cable out there is by TRN:

disclaimer for anybody that doesn’t know
you have to buy the plugs separately if you end up getting this + it feels SUPER cheap compared to similarly priced cables (faaeel 4 core for example) but it works the modular system is essentially the same as every other one out there besides dunus which is still the best imo, if trn just offered one with all 3 plugs for like $10 more instead of having to get the connectors separately it’d be my goto cable

I had stanard TRN T2 as my first go to cable (come on, it is 10 USD) and I really really like it. Cable itself looks and feels really well (jack is on the cheap plastic side), it is soft and lightweight and fullfills its purpose of delivering signal to the earbud.
Had it for T800 and it matched even the color of faceplates (pseudo silver carbon fiber).

Generally felt much better than any stock cable I had (Mele, Tea, T800, Pinnacle P2).

Overall though I think Dunu DUW-02 is the best option to have as modular cable

I managed to listen to 10 songs in two days…

Damn I miss wfh. Will post first impressions of P1 Plus and VR3000 once I’ve had some more time with them.

Also, seems like the timeless meme is coming to an end… Twice. I have one ready to pick up once I have time and another arriving tomorrow but it’s fedex

I empathise - only now I’m getting time to listen to music during the day.

Excited to read your upcoming reviews!

i think it’s partially to do with the plastic bits on the t2 pro, + it’s in brown (only colour available when i got it), another trn cable i have feels better

this one i’ve had for ab 18 months, feels better, both are definitely better than most stock cables (although some companies like thieaudio and gs audio come with better stock cables imo)

I feel exactly the same. Need to get my lazy bum up to rewrite my Review of the Variations and start the one on the Oracle and Bravery.
