Took this here a while ago for a photography class at uni:

Lego-fig on a small mirror surrounded by mostly wrinkle free alu foil under a makeshift softbox (wire and paper):

Same fig, comparing “Softbox” (augmented with an OLED-ish panel) vs direct light source:

What I found to work extremely well as backdrop is poster sized cardboard in various colors. Or cloth of various kind.

Concerning getting good pictures of flat-ish things, watch this video:

Just two shots of P1, taken with S10+, and bit of light room play.

I got a DSLR camera with couple of lenses, I hope taking few shots later when got some time. I forgot how I used to like playing with photography. And some headphones I have are really nicely looking, they deserve some shots.

And one with more blueish color, composing better with red background i guess.
Also less overdone in terms of colours.

Nobody has mentioned the problem I struggle with the most - keep it clean. No not that sort of clean; dust!

Fingerprints are also annoying.

OMG, it’s amazing to think they both go in your ears. The Z1R appears at least 3 times the size of the P1!

Hi guys,

I am still relatively new to this forum. Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming with how many topics there are for me to jump in and start a conversation like I do on a couple other forums.

However, I saw this topic and thought I would jump in as I have been a professional photographer since 2007 and have been taking photos for over 30 years. If you guys want any tips or tricks, gear questions, or you are having a hard time with something, I will do my best to help!
