Nobody expected them to be… Folks buy them for the tuning
But the hype around these IEMs is a bit excessive

yeah I should’ve asked for more blue and purple on the red faceplates instead of green and blue

Green Pula! I use TANGZU Tang Sancai Wide bore tips for pressure relief

noted, I’ll probably buy those since the pressure’s really messin with me lol

I like to use mine for longer than 3 hours at a time so you get to really feel em after a while. Still not as bad as my XM4s tho

if I can’t find a good enough solution, I sadly will have to sell em

Let me know if they work for you!
There is also a balanced version, but I don’t have it.

will do, ended up grabbing the balanced version since I wanted a s/m/l pair even though I’ll probably be just fine with L lol

Other eartips recommended for pressure relief, but not tested by me:

Triple or double flange tips

COMPLY TZ-200

MoonDrop Spring Tips

Tanchjim T-APB T300

I’ll keep those in mind in case these aren’t great, I’m hoping they’re great though, balanced arriving today and if they help my Pula I’m grabbing wide bores as well

Got mine yesterday, haven’t spent much time with it, but for the price it’s clearly a great competitor. Thanks to Tone Deaf Monk for the recommendation, bought PA02 before the review ended (%

UPD: noticed funny resemblance:

Doesn’t get much closer than that. The PA 02 probably has more bottom note weight with the DD but tuning is wow

Okay these things are magic and definitely help out with the pressure but sadly I need a slightly wider one, will take a while but I’ll probably give the Moondrop XL spring tips a go as well at some point but for now these work well enough

Springtips will be better and give you more bass.

I am glad they helped with the pressure problem, even if it was not a final solution. I have a narrow ear canal and I think the Wide Bore tips are a little bigger than the Balanced ones and for me they work well but sonically not the best for this IEM.

Is it better to order Moondrop XL size for these headphones?

I’m hoping they’re just as great as the sangcai with the ear pressure since the XL is like the perfect sizing and I remembered loving spring tips when I bought a set of Arias before

I grabbed the wide bore and XL pair from Linsoul since I could always just order a Chu from Amazon if I need smaller which I highly doubt I’d need

I do agree it’s not the best sonically but I was able to wear em for so long and without issues so now I won’t end up selling mine. Honestly great find

Let me know if wide bore and spring tips help with pressure relief and if they sound better! :crossed_fingers:

FYI; if pressure relief via tips is needed, then foam tips will do better than silicone ones. Or you could consider the hybrid silicone/foam tips like the Sony EP-TC50.

I’ll give the hybrid ones a check since I didn’t know they made those, the foams are great but I dunno why but I feel icky wearing em for some reason.

Thanks for the rec, I’m gonna check em out

Well hopefully the spring tips are good enough because I’m up to my knees in tips now and I need somewhere store em now lol
