I have the same problem with the cable socket. The sound on the left side has interference. Pula
Dammit same problem with my set which causes defective contacts on left and right channel depending on how I wear them. In front of the PC, gaming etc no problem not so while on the move or in bed.
Sorry for my recommendation I didnāt see that issue coming.
Hifigo might open a whole can of worms distributing this set on a bigger scale. Yikes.
even more glad I didnāt pull the trigger now. Sometimes patience pays!
Iāve personally not experienced any problems with em but it will be imminent failure. I do like the set but Iām not one to repurchase stuff if it breaks since I like checking out new IEMs.
So if this problem can get ironed out in future sets then no problem itās still good to me. Iām talking to em and theyāre offering me to send it back but I aināt spending more money on it because Iām broke now lol
Sadly, whenever something gets really hyped it goes one of 2 ways. Either they bump up the price or the QC starts fallingā¦(at worst both, like Urbanfun.)
I had time to use them for a longer time and sadly these are not comfortable for me more than an hour. They feel like they cutting into my ears at the incisura, antitragus part. After 1.5 hour I needed to take it out.
It doesnt seem to have a vent for pressure relief so that is probably a big part of why.
Didnāt have any other issue with it, doesnāt feel like it has pressure issues. I donāt have a large enough ear for these it seems.
That is incorrect it is vented on both my sets.
It has zero driver flex or pressure build up for me and I am very sensitive to that.
That is a vent only for driver flex prevention. That does not relieve pressure like sets with an āinner ventā as I call them. (see the simgots.)
I can confirm my sockets arenāt loose so this seems to be a QC issue
Very unfortunate
How many resin shell IEM have a vent for pressure relief I donāt think many unless you use another tube in the nozzle fed back into the shell.
What Simgot are you referring to the EA500? Its a different design with a single DD vented both sides to control the driver not driver pressure as far as I understand it. Like the Timeless, like the DUNU Falcon Ultra.
The EM6L has only one vent as well for the DD and typically all thatās needed.
I am not trying to be confrontational just want to make sure the correct information is being said.
Which is the main problem of full resin shells.
There are still some iems with vents though.
KZ DQ6
For DD pressure yes. It is not enough for pressure relief for your own ears.
If that were the case for all resin hybrid IEM it would be a industry wide issue and I donāt think that is the case, Nor for the PA02.
It is unfortunate if someone experienced that with this or any other set and have to change eartips to alleviate the pressure, it happens to me with some sets and I am super sensitive to it.
I have no issues with the PA02 and its a non issue for me.
I used it with Sancai Wide, so that should not have been pressure issue.
Same shi- with my 2-pins. Š”onnectors bend in the socket from slight impact. As far as I understand they are poorly secured inside.
Exactly. It is not a hole for pressure relief.
Yeah Iāll be the first to admit Iām not exactly very lucky on QC either, since I started my IEM journey from my Hifiman Deva pro failing and upgrading to an Edition XS only for that to fail again so I took a break from headphones and went to IEMs instead lol.
My sister says it hasnāt affected the sound quality whatsoever and hasnāt cut out, itās a ticking time bomb to be sure if you use them actively which is unfortunate as I really enjoyed the set with my Sancai Wides that helped out with pressure.
All in all, it was a pretty good set and the one who taught me what was special about the Xenns Up since the mids slams on the pula was very nice. I have the option of sending it back for repair and covering the shipping fees but Iām currently recovering from my IEM spree so Iāll be calling it for now.
If this problem disappears in their QC, Iād say 100% go for em, for now if youāre one who uses em actively in the outside, itās a maybe unless youāre gingerly
After several days of listening, I can say that they sound worth their price, nothing more. The first problem is a lisp - you can hear what inexpensive BA sound like. Secondly - they sound synthetic, not natural, however if you listen on a warm source you will practically not hear all these shortcomings
