Rant thread - share your grievances, not just audio

Same thing here, except mine was in April. Still haven’t received, and I do not expect to receive it now. Beware of them.

70% of the time, it works ever time?

Mosquitoes.

That is all.

Yeah… agreed…But dont have those here… too dry… When I lived in Florida they were big enough to haul your ass away then have their way with you and dump you off on a street corner!!

Freedom Mobile in Canada, won’t sign up new customers for post paid plans online. they’ve got a screaming deal where for $60/m I can get 20Gb with a free Galaxy A71.

but I can’t cause the closest store is a 9 hour drive.

Im with freedom with a great deal back when they were wind $33 for unlimited data, calling and texting within canada and outwars to the US. just check their coverage is good for you though cause it’s pretty ass outside of the cities.

Good timing for this to pop up on my page… Bought a Aune X7S as it sounded good on my warmer headphones. Literally just up and died not even 5 minutes ago. No reason no noise not really warm or anything just kicked the bucket. Aune I really wanted to like you… but at $300 your amp kicking the bucket in 24 hours(literally got this yesterday afternoon) pisses me off big time. Take it back… I will stick with my asgard.

there will always be lemons…don’t blame them for one bad experience. someone should only get a bad name if it’s a common trend.

you see the new Shaw Mobile?

nah haven’t heard about it, but looking at the coverage it looks like they are sharing the same towers as freedom which makes sense cause freedom is owned by shaw. so I really have no reason to switch to them

how much data do you use a month, RG?

upward of 6 to 10 gigs. anywhere I go regularly I generally have access to wifi. and my internet at home is just flat out faster than any data you throw at me

Chock that up to me being tired and having a bad day aye? Already reached out to them about it.

so my Big & Tall Mesh office chair from Uline has had the left armrest fail. It won’t hold it’;s place anymore and falls to the lowest setting whenever I put my arm on it. It’s about 9 months old now.

I contacted support and they said my chair only had a 30 day warranty. I checked the product page and the manual and neither said anything about warranty so I asked where I can read the warranty details on their site and they said there is none. I was then told I can buy a replacement for $40.

I’ve now submitted a complaint to our provincial consumer protection agency and to the BBB.

you can’t say there’s only a 30 day warranty when there’s no documentation on your site that says this.

Not really a rant, not really a grievance, it’s just … complicated.

I have a very old cat, so old not even the vet can tell, found it on the street some years ago.
IT NEEDS TO EAT NOW! SHE MEEAWS YOU FEED!

Which is fine.

But then I have another cat, not as old, still old, not very active. It eats all the scraps.

Now it’s fat.

You may bask in its glory here:

Older picture when not fat yet. Did not get permission to post fat pics.

Bought Audirvana today, expensive enough (almost $100 USD). That kinda annoyed me but oh well it’s a lifetime subscription so in the long run it won’t be that bad.

Then some of my albums weren’t tagged correctly so I had to go and buy a metadata editor for Mac… another $30 fml.

On top of all that I spent almost $80 earlier this morning on an IEMatch as there was hiss on my DAP.

All of this is just too expensive for a student, especially as I don’t know when I will next be getting money…

should’ve gone PC

Felix, I believe you can edit Metadata in Audirvana?
Edit you can do it on a track by track basis

Sold mine to take an ex on holiday lol

some of the meta data yes, but I was trying to change whole album covers or release years etc for multiple songs at a time. And not just for audirvana, for my micro sd card as well. Oh well…

I have an app now that does it, cost a bit but it’s very good so I guess in the long run it’ll be worth it
